Quoting: Anonymous Pothead 1952 N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine Individuals who have smoked cigarettes [or to a lessor degree, buds] for many years eventually develop deterioration in their lungs leading to various symptoms, including chronic production of thick mucus. This so-called chronic bronchitis tends to flare up periodically into severe acute attacks possibly requiring hospitalization. Regular use of NAC may diminish the number of these attacks. A review and meta-analysis selected eight double-blind placebo-controlled trials of NAC for chronic bronchitis. 1-9 The results of these studies, involving a total of about 1,400 individuals, suggest that NAC taken daily at a dose of 400 to 1,200 mg can reduce the number of acute attacks of severe bronchitis. Quoting: Anonymous Bong Smoker 1952 Description: N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a modified form of the amino acid cysteine. It is commonly used in hospitals both to help break down mucus and to protect from acetaminophen toxicity. In addition, it helps the body to synthesize the antioxidant glutathione. NAC helps to reduce plasma cell adhesion in Type 2 diabetes patients. While NAC does reduce the amount of damage caused to the lungs by cigarette smoking, it does not completely protect them from damage. NAC is effective in the treatment of lung damage caused by inhalation of airborne chemicals. NAC appears effective in reducing complications related to liver transplants. It may also be effective for use in other transplant situations. The amino acid N-acetyl Cystene (NAC) appears to inhibit HIV replication in a laboratory setting. Supplementation appears to slow the decline of immune function in HIV patients. When used with Glutamine, it helps in the production of glutathione, an antioxidant which appears to be helpful in preventing infection in HIV patients. The supplement N-acetyl cysteine appears to minimize the severity of influenza infection. Subjects taking 600 mg twice daily experience far fewer and less severe symptoms when they became infected with the flu. They get triggered by particular words, symbols etc. They can't really bother about the meaning. They just look for the trigger words. Their language & comprehension skills are 0. Some bots have bods, others don't. Cara Is Spirit |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1952 I am stopping at Henry's on the way home to buy N-Acetyl Cycsteine. Nothing like immediate gratification. You can buy it off the Internet though. I recommend you do so if you smoke anything... for your family. They will take care of you and love you anyway, but inside they will be bitter they have to take care of you and you didn't do more to take care of yourself. This stuff is found to be extremely effective against Covid. So government shills are gonna shill. Fear not. The people hear you. Thanks for the info |

I mainly used for sinuses but at the time of starting NAC I then gained a pain in nose ( which iv thought is perhaps because of no moisture ) but just had a flu where there were moisture but still pain. Probably not the NAC though. Upon reducing NAC. Did I have a more racier/ skitz mind? Not sure but its supposed to be good also for mental illness ( I dont have skitz btw ) I might buy Zinc, vit c instead. To go with my magnesium and vit D. |
