Given that America now has a larger percentage of our population behind bars than any other country in the world - I'd say their nefarious little scheme has worked quite well.

And given that the majority of prison inmates are black or hispanics, it would also seem that White People are immune to this music and it's side effects, largely because they can't stand to listen to it!

If this is true, then it's an absolute horror.

But why are so many of the blacks susceptible to the music and lyrics they hear in this awful music? What is it in their minds that makes them translate the violent acts in songs to acts they perform in reality? That's too weird for my understanding. There must be some genetic vulnerability to this kind of thing? Could it be the rhythm and beat somehow get to a deeper layer of their minds than it does in caucasians or other races?

Well I'm black so i can answer this. The answer's simple and stupid really....peer pressure. That's all there is to it. Peer pressure to be "black". Even if it is not true it makes sense for me. I won't even comment on the occult/symbolism stuff we witnessing the last 2 years in the mainstream music industry. They are not even hiding it a bit anymore. It speaks volumes for me so i don't believe this story is too far fetched. Music producer and big music fan meself and i'm pretty puzzled that not much has changed since that period musically. You expect once in a 10 year period some change in the genres and styles, the next big thing to come up, but it doesn't.
