There is nothing you can do about it, just sit and wait for rain. This time of year usually sees rain. Not this year. Only the threat of rain. Afternoon thunderstorm bring wind, and lightning, but no rain. Two days ago, around 2PM, as God is my witness, I saw a lightning strike in the general direction of 2 miles West from my home. Ten minutes later I get a reverse 911 call for pre-evacuation. Before I panicked, I got in the car and found the source of the growing smoke. Firefighters were already there. A brush fire due to the same fucking lighnting strike that I had witnessed minutes before
