What Obamacare means: Tea Party is going Juggernaut

"Progressive" is the therm that Socialists and Marxists have employed when the term Liberal loses it's sparkle. They go back and forth between the two over the last hundred years. They claim any title that has brand appeal .....anything but what they really are.

The way I look at it is that you can call a snake a puppy if you like .....if it slithers on its belly its still a snake.

Penalty for not getting healthcare just announced on the news.

Income of $50,000 pay $1200 more in tax peanlty per year. Insurance for my family through employer costs $4342 per year, non insured would still save money provided they did have any health issues.

The extreme poverty level people would still save $3142 per year in this scenario. $50,000 per year wouldn't feed a dozen kids. But they would still have 3 grand to feed them with.

They don't have to worry about feeding them...... that is what food stamps are for ......don't have to worry about sheltering them .....that is what Section 8 is for ......don't have to worry about schooling them ....that is what government schools are for ....don't have to worry about anything ........that is what my taxes are for.

Oh, right, well if it saves you $2 large, then by all means let's throw out the Constitution.

Hate to break it to you OP but the Tea Party was taken over by the GOP establishment. The party Chief, Romney, was the inventor of Obamacare. You still think it'll be repealed?

If the Tea Party wishes to ever become any viable force, it must PURGE the GOP rank and file. Not just he politicians but voters who are moderate as well. Neither belong in the tea party and both have effected its demise.

Yep you know it. All these people who are in the position to actually do something are just giving lip service. BUT those same people keep sitting there running their hot air opening telling us " WE THE PEOPLE" to get up and do something... it is not only ridiculous but is getting rather sickening to hear over and over. They know the common Joe on the street has no way to do anything nor has the means to do it. WHY? BECAUSE THEIR MEANS OF DOING ANYTHING IS SITTING IN THE POCKETS OF THE ONES BLOWING THE HOT AIR!

My Daddy fought in WW1 & WW11. And all my greats, all my kin folk down the line fought for their country NOT congress, now look at it, my kin folk as well as all of anyone elses has just been slapped in the face AGAIN. Go stand at a military cemetery and look out over a sea of white crosses and maybe, just maybe you might get an idea of what i am talking about.

you underestimate the "common" folk that runs Main Street and everyone that keeps them in buisness...a message would have to go out, that everyone not in the health/services fields stays home from work 1 day, essientially shutting the country down. If a mere 5% complied, the message to dc will still be heard.

You bring up military and it brings up the question: where are the Generals? Are they not sworn in on the Constitution aswell?
