Memories that are not mine ... memories from a past life?

This is a serious posts … I've been wondering for years …

I cannot remember much of my past. I mostly remember my very past past ( when I was very small) … and then everything else is kind of blurry.

However , I have a lot of memories that aren't really mine… at least not of my present life … I don't know where they come from….

For example I remember when I was 16-17 and I was in New York … It was a cool autumn afternoon and it was almost Halloween. There were pumpkins with faces and other decorations… and the leaves and the trees where just so beautiful! I saw a little girl with a bee costume and a basket skipping. Everything was wet because I had rained. I was wearing black pants and a pinkish sweater and a scarf and I was going to a store to buy some stuff …. etc


umm…. the thing about that memory is that even though I've been to New York, I've never been there while it is autumn …. and that has never happened.

Another memory…

I was in Michigan last year when I was 19… I was at a fair at night… there were animals and machines …. It was a warm summer night. I was wearing short denim shorts, blue hollister plaid shirt and cowgirl boots …. I was there just observing the animals and there was a group of guys looking at me …. I went to see some cows and one of the guys followed me … He was cute actually.. He had an emo/rebel look … but not the Hitler emo look…. he had the Billie Joe Armstrong look … he was wearing a black button shirt and black jeans .. He had some piercings … anyway, he was standing behind me and I accidentally hit him…. and he fell and he broke something … and then we went to the hospital… he was mad at me … i told him I liked him, he smiled … blah blah, etc, etc…

I've never being to Michigan.

I have lots of these memories ..I don't know where they come from ..
