Starting to see more light spots shapes with eyes closed

Very common. Just protien packets floating around...nothing to worry about.

It's like things fly by. A glow that grows and morphs.

Sometimes they have real shapes like octagonal in 3d

What part of the country are you in? I ask because it's a well known fact that when we humans are exposed to radiation we see spots in our eyes when our eyes are closed.

Have you been using the computer alot more as of late? I notice this when I spend hours a day on the comp.

what your seeing is particles of radiation floating in the air, the radiation passed through the skin and can be seen by the eyes.

To start with, this has nothing to do with radiation at all. What it is has seething to do with overtaxing your mental state. It's like you can't sleep or have been up for a very long time and stress makes it worse. They are, in fact, closed eye visualizations/hallucinations also known as entopic phenomena. I've always had them as long as I remember and only recently started looking into them.

Many people have very mild symptoms (amorphous blobs like a bad screensaver), but I can say mine have been quite acute in detail and brightness (at times). I will see bright lightning or geometric shapes (very small but extensive over entire visual field) and sometimes so bright it pulses and can actually keep me awake more.

It's most likely a sign of slight to extensive exhaustion. If it appears in your open eye awareness, then you may want to see a doctor if you're worried, but I've had them for over 30 years without an issue. In fact, while I cannot prevent it from happening, there is almost a level of control to it. Almost as if my mind is affecting it, but I chalk that up to perception like a Rorschach test. Mine is also most intense when the muscles at the back of my neck and just below my skull, around C1 and C2 vertebrae, are really tense as well.
Anyway, I don't believe you have anything to worry about, but you may just need some rest. You're not alone. Good luck and rest well.
