I know I tend to really get defensive and lash out sometimes, and yet there is a reason why I do so. I know if I feel the way I do, there has to be someone else that does as well, and that if I were feeling the way I do and felt all alone, I would feel better knowing at least one other person felt the same way, even if nothing could be done about it.

the only depressing thing about that is considering that I really MIGHT be the only one that feels the way I do..

and that is that sometimes I can understand the point that is being made..while at other times all this "raise your own vibration" sounds like so much victim blaming.

There is real suffering in the world and while attitude can lessen it, it will never take it away. INVOLVEMENT does that, and it's the only thing that ever has.

love isn't an idea or a state of mind..it can be..but more than that..it's an action.

and I get down on myself because I am so far from where I want to be..I want to be the person that can reach out and help the suffering. But I am a coward who is afraid of pain and suffering myself, because I know IT IS NEVER NECESSARY.
