Fire them, they are all employees not our rulers. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9968554 And I hope that every woman who poses for playboy stops by my house to blow me. Anonymous Coward User ID: 16545955 United States 05/23/2012 02:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Dumbasses that propose these things have no clue how difficult it would be to enforce. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15884967 You gonna make every website that comes through a new york isp server to a ny customer install special software to prevent it? Or are they going to form an internet police force to track down anonymous posters and cite them for posting anonymously? Fine them? Make them appear in court? Can you imagine what sort of infrastructure of software and personnel would be required to enforce such a law? So how would glp or any other website be required to appear and function differently in ny state without them having to be somehow modified to comply? The dumbshits that come up with this shit obviously don't use the internet themselves. Think of the bureaucracy Andrew Cuomo would get to implement "for our own good" if he can get this. Ever since he became governor there has been a series of these "surprise attacks" against the non-NWO aspects of NY State. Gay marriage was the first, then making our divorce laws the same as everyone else's, now this. Great catch by OP, maybe it will help STOP this one. I'm writing my NY legislators telling them to vote against it. Thanks, OP! |

His Republican opponent self-destructed and so it was unavoidable. He talks of great things, and behind our backs he does things like this. |

Think how this will help Cuomo get reelected! The opposition would be primarily in-state, and those opponents would be constrained in their speech. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 16545955 United States 05/23/2012 02:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is John Smith gonna be the ubiquitous ny message board denizen? That ought to fix it. Or are they going to require name address ssn to post a comment in ny? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15884967 If someone says something offensive, you need verified ID next to the post, or it'll be deleted. Which means political opinions in NY would be effectively squashed. Edit: doesn't even need to be offensive... it does not ban or prevent anonymous postings. but if the website administrator is based in NY then they will have to remove specific anonymous posts on request from their website. and the answer to this problem is just not have the webstie admin living in new york.. problem solved. Maybe it's a "partnership" with Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. CT is losing jobs since so many hedge funds blew up and their taxes are as high as ours. This seems tailor-made to send IT jobs across the state line into CT (and NJ). |
