Tell me, How is 2 cigarette lighters could crack at the same time loosing gas

High UV degrades plastic & and a sudden pressure change did the rest!

Makes sense Mr Wizard. UV has degrated the plastic during the day as the UV today was 12+ above extreme.

And then 11:45pm as I felt the pressure and humidity change the lighters burst.

Never hppened before but both lighters where sitting in the middle console of a car today, exposed to the sun for a good 6 hours.

Interesting.

Would be interesting to see what the actual barometric pressure was. Did your ears pop? Is there a monitor to you locally?

Can´t blame it on pressure unless it waslocalized in my room as I have checked the local chart that updates every 30 minutes.

The closest monitor is only 5Km from where I live.
