Anyone here work for skybeam???
I have a question for you if you do.
I love physics. It bonds us eternally, it's what makes our computers work, it's what's in my morning cup of coffee, it's the thing that keeps the universe from vanishing due to lack of belief...

Re: Anyone here work for skybeam???
They use Wi-Max 5.2 through 5.8 ghz wireless. I am on their service. Since Friday, I have been having issues. Today, the guy in the call center at Colorado said it was because the military used radar that hit the tower, and per FCC rules they have to shut down for an hour. I think it's total crap. That they are just having issues with the tower I can see from my home.

ANYONE ever hear of such a thing? Well, it's been 2 and a half hours and it's still NOT up. Waiting on customer service to answer...

if you can see the tower, and it's 5.8ghz, it shouldn't be a signal problem, i guess.
