Everything is made of vibration and the higher the vibration the more complex become the patterns. We are indeed a reflection of the frequencies we are projecting. All crude objects have a frequency because they are just part of the Cosmic Whole. Those solid objects have a point at which the unity of the atomic structure will begin to disintegrate by the influence of a more subtle frequency. Nothing special and nothing to attribute to some satanic force. The human mind is more sentimental than logical. The music industry preys mostly on this sentimental factor. Most people want a common scientific solution to their reunion with Cosmic Nucleus. The simple truth is that devotional sentiment is that solution. Bhaktiis are the most clever yogiis. I always remember the story about Ramakrsna and Vivekananda. They were taking their morning bath in the river one day. Vivekananda was doing his usual whining because he couldn't realize God. Ramakrsna was getting fed up with it so he grabbed Vivekananda's head and shoved him under the water till he was trashing around desperate for air.
