They also know they're better off bashing other candidates than trying to talk about their candidate's "good" points. Dr. Paul is the only candidate whose supporters can talk positively about his positions. All other candidate's supporters have to resort to negativity towards their opponents. Prove me wrong, Romney supporters.... |

But it is obvious it will be Romney VS Obammy. Quoting: Evan03 So I need to know where Romney stands on some issues before I can make a decision. 1) Stem Cell Research 2) Subsidies to Oil Companies 3) Reducing the debt (not just cutting "future" spending) 4) Has he attended any Bilderberg meetings? I would appreciate answers from any Romney supporters. Or from Romney haters who just happen to know the answers. Thx Answers: 1) Who really cares? 2) Who really cares? 3) Yes he is for reducing the debt and a balanced budget. I was a Massachusetts resident during his governership. At the time, the state was in a financial crisis. He ran on the promise of balancing the bugdget and eliminating state debt without raising taxes. He accomplished both while working against a far left state legistlature who was trying to raise taxes. 4) Not that I know of. |

Stem Cell Research: Yes and No. Yes to research, No to creating life in a lab just for that purpose. Same as Bush the W. Subsidies for Oil: Yep. Hell, Mitt has publically supported subsidies for Ethanol to (in his mind) fight so-called man made global warming. Reducing the debt: Are you serious? Mr. State managed health care is no more interested in actually reducing the debt than any other politician. They all claim to want to, but the best results of any of them is a slow-down in the increase. During an election year where the federal debt limit is going to be reached and the debate on raising it will happen before election day his campaign website doesn’t even say a single word about it! *edit* A header on Mitt's website does say "We have a moral responsiblity not to sepend more than we take in". That is about it as far as talk about debt. Nothing that I saw on a quick search about actually reducing it. Bilderberg? Don’t know.
