I just switched over to Uverse. My connection keeps dropping sync at random. Anyone else have this issue after the switch?

I was sent a notice by AT&T that I had to switch over to Uverse. Every since I switch, my DSL sync is dropping at random. Anyone else have this issue. If this continues, I will be switching to charter cable for my ISP. This is crazy.

So, no one is having their connection dropped at random?

Did you call tech support and tell them?

Yes, they are working on the problem. I did not experience any problems with the drop in sync before I switched. My speed was 3.00 before the switch. After the switch, my speed went to 6.00. The sync will drop at random. I think the speed issue is a problem. The tech dis-agreed with my theory. If this problem continues, I will drop my ISP and switch to another service provider.

Tell the tech to drop the speed. That might resolve the issue. I told the tech to try that and he dis-agreed with me.
The sync will drop at random times. I think it is a speed issue.

I've had the same problem with them for almost 2 years. They keep saying they don't see any problems. Unfortunately they are the only provider I can get where I am otherwise i'd drop them.

My internet speed was reduced after I added Uverse. They wouldn't admit a thing was wrong. I dropped them as fast as I could .

Get this error several times a day in the late afternoons and early evening hours for the last three or four days. Never got it before and had Uverse for a couple of months now. St. Louis, MO.

The Broadband Link is Currently Not Available

Error: DSL Failed to Connect
The gateway's internal DSL modem does not currently detect a DSL signal or is having problems connecting.

To restore your Broadband connection:

Verify that the telephone cable is still properly connected between a working wall jack and the gateway port labeled PHONE LINE.
If your gateway is connected to a DSL phone filter, make sure it is connected to the jack labeled DSL/HPNA.
Make sure that ALL phones, answering machines, or other devices which connect to a phone jack have a DSL phone filter attached.

If you have never had a working DSL Broadband connection, it’s possible your DSL service has not yet been turned on.

If this situation persists, contact your Broadband service provider for assistance.

If you still do not have Broadband connectivity after checking the above, click on the "Check Connection" button below.

usually goes out for at least a few minutes then comes back without me having to do anything. Had DSL before this and never had a problem. Switched to Uverse cause they said DSL was being discontinued.

Been using uverse for years, never had a single problem.

It depends greatly on your distance from the box.
