We can never find an end to our suffering on Earth as long as we do what others tells us is right. | |

The average man seeks approval in the eyes of society and calls that self-confidence. Real self-confidence comes from following your own true path, no matter what anyone else tells you. When we require constant approval for our actions, we become the lowest common denominator of society and therefore, nothing and in constant pain and suffering. This is because we are not living who we really are. In truth, there are no failures or successes in life, only experiences to be learned from. There is no wrong choice, only our choice. Quoting: 1123581321 Our suffering only starts to end when we begin to have the courage, discipline and personal power to be who we really want to be. Not who others expect us to be. This true path is a lonely journey because we must walk it completely alone. We can still have family, friends and loved ones around us at times, but we must have the inner courage and discipline to not be swayed by others. This is the path of a real warrior. A real warrior does not become a pawn or weapon for others to control, but a being completely in control of their own destiny. A real warrior does not need to be young, physically powerful or able to defeat or kill others. They must possess impeccable confidence, courage and discipline. Once we learn to follow our own true path, only then is inner peace really possible. Is this path easier? Hell no. If anything, it becomes much more difficult. You now become a threat to the control and power of so called leaders of society. The true spiritual warriors are their real enemies, because they are nothing if they can't control others. Even though this path is harder, requires total discipline and courage, and can be very lonely, it is the only path to ascension in my view. One last point, many believe that a spiritual warrior must be dedicated to service-to-self and centered on personal power and control. A good example of this type of person are the dark sorcerers in the books by Carlos Castaneda. However, a "warrior of light" is on the path of service-to-others. The best example that comes to mind is the Spanish classic novel Don Quixote de La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes. Hopefully we don't end up just fighting windmills. *smile* This is the path to enlightenment in my humble opinion. Well, the choice is yours. Just my views. Peace, Fibonacci |
