Anyone know anything about computer dvd burners?
Are they worth having or is it best just to use a cd burner?

Also what is a good one?

If the dvd burner is dual layer 9.5 gb how do you burn more than 4.7 gb on the dvd?

All the dvd´s are 4.7 gb.

Re: Anyone know anything about computer dvd burners?
There´s no question in my mind the one to get is the Plextor 716A. I picked one up at Best Buy for $100 on sale, maybe cheaper now. It´s a dual layer model and I´ve never had a problem. If you look around the net for reviews, you´ll find many people agree it´s among the best.

DVDs are far better than CD burners too -- all of my older CD-RW (write many) discs are corrupting, but the DVD-RWs have never given me a problem.

You can go to Fry´s and get an Emprex double layer for $39. Works great.
