Every day my fears about assisting the rebels through out the middle-east becomes increasingly justified.

What gets me is the fact we just apparently liberated Libya only for those fuckers to turn on us because some silly book was mistakenly burnt, just shows the dangers of the Islamic ideology tbh.

We shouldn't have bothered. It's the same across the middle-east, all we are doing is replacing dictators who have at least some control with rabbles who may end being more oppressive than the dictators they replace.

No-one in western governments ever asked the question, were the people who were oppressed, oppressed for good reason? And if they were in western countries would they be deemed a threat and imprisoned likewise?

After 9/11 I was playing at a wedding in a band where one of the families was Middle Eastern. It was as if they were given a license to be more assertive. I can't really describe it any other way, but it rolled off them.
