People don't decide to get addicted to drugs, it sneaks up on you...if you play around with opiates and narcotics , you will become addicted... It's not how addictive a substance is, it's the persons susceptibility to addiction. What opiates and narcotics to to brain chemistry is not a willpower issue, it's much more powerful than that. Keep fooling yourself and making excuses and you will end up in addiction...
