Anonymous Coward User ID: 2795015 United States 02/08/2012 12:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Listen, this isn't about a man. This is about a message. Whether Ron Paul delivers it or not, will not change....This message lives on and will continue to grow. Quoting: Joe Boxer Yes - this is so key to this whole rEVOLution. Never give up -- even when we lose, we win I pray that Paul runs third party (if he doesn't win the nomination with his team's delegates strategy). Can you imagine what a run that would be?! Of course, the odds would be stacked against him in this rigged system, but look at how much headway he's making in getting important (previously taboo) issues into the mainstream and waking people up. On the one hand, it's disheartening and infuriating; yet, at the same time I marvel at how much progress we are making. No one outside the nutjobs on this website really gives two shits about the "message" you are referring to. The message will never live on because no one really cares about it. Sorry.. it's the truth. By the way.. Paul is never going to run third party, he will not win the republican nomination, and you guys aren't making any progress (hence always losing). And quit whining about the system being rigged. You obviously live in a different universe than I do because 90% of the people I know many many people that THEY know say they support Ron Paul because what he says makes sense. None of them have anything to do with this 'nutjob' forum. You're right. I live in a universe outside of the Internet and douche-bag libertarian college students. By the way.. I can't tell if Ron Paul is actually making any sense because I can't understand him behind all of the stuttering and stammering. |

Quoting: Mojofabulous THAT is the reality and hypocrisy we live in today. Let's stop murdering foreigners first, THEN talk about the nuances of fetus morality. Exactly. Plus people who argue with Paul's stance on abortion forget that God gave man free will; and not so we should hand it over to a central authority. I highly respect Paul's position, particularly being as he is obviously pro-life himself. I can only imagine that, as a practicing OB/GYN (of 30 years), he's seen some very tough cases which gives him a clearer perspective on individual rights in these matters. His solution is elegant. By leaving it up to the states, many options would continue to exist. The key part is that we, as taxpayers, would not be forced to fund those aspects that went against our personal beliefs. User ID: 2938296 United States 02/08/2012 01:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I believe another Civil War is very possible. The two major policical parties and the ideologies that accompany them are indirect conflict. Both feel passionately that their vision for America's future is the only one that will work. You only have to hang out on GLP for a while to see the animosity and sometimes hatred between liberals and conservatives. The two sides are polar opposite in the direction they think America should go and the chasm between them grows every day. As nice as bipartisanship looks on paper, it isn't going to happen. One side eventually has to win because the country can't move in both directions at once. As our living situations deteriorate, I think we'll see more and more minor clashes and from there I don't think a full-out waris too far-fetched. ... Anonymous Coward User ID: 4485089 Canada 02/08/2012 01:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You retards go check Mormons views of when life begins and see how even they cant come up with a clear answer. They have no fucking idea if its at conception, or when theres the first movements of life, or at birth. Sometimes its ok to abort, sometimes its not. They cant make their fucking minds. But Romney wont come out with a clear opinion about abortion i guarantee you that, cause if hes for, its not Christian of him (Mormonism has nothing to do with Christianity anyway, but they like to pretend it does)and he would loose votes, and if hes against he would alienated every single individual capable of critical thinking, and thats not good when youre trying to portray yourself as a leader. RP has his belief, doesnt hide behind them, doesnt avoid giving a straight answer to the questions. His beliefs are irrelevant, why? Cause a president is not elected to impose his beliefs on the people he serves. He does whats good for the country, not himself, not like a dictator or a tyrant. Reach down your pants, grab your balls, squeeze your balls. You feel that? They exist. Now if you could only use them when it counts. |
