Don't care. Nothing changes in my support if he fails to win. It just means the government loses a little more legitimacy. Eventually they'll be ruling without the support of the masses and that is when governments collapse all on their own.

Hell, even with ron paul dies, nothing changes in my support. It will move on to someone with similar views with a similar voting record.

I think you may be right. I know the brokered convention is what Ron Paul is counting on. It's good for it to keep bouncing back and forth between them instead of Romney winning all of the states. It's really our only hope. Are they allowed to bring out a new candidate? I hope not. It doesn't seem like it would be allowed. I would think they could only re-assign the delegates to candidates that were originally on the ballot in that state. That seems to be common sense but when has politics ever been about sense?

The GOP could also see that Romney isn't go to work out and now they may want to go to a brokered convention hence Santorum winning tonight. The Media would love a brokered convention as well.

Ultimately I would have loved to see a MN win for Paul tonight. The second best outcome was to have Santorum take it.

I do predict a Maine win for Paul.

Curious thing tonight. For the people that voted for Santorum that I had a chance to speak with, everyone of them voted based on his "sincerity" and nothing about policy.

Santorum's "sincerity" will be vetted out of him soon.

I pray that Paul runs third party (if he doesn't win the nomination with his team's delegates strategy). Can you imagine what a run that would be?! Of course, the odds would be stacked against him in this rigged system, but look at how much headway he's making in getting important (previously taboo) issues into the mainstream and waking people up. On the one hand, it's disheartening and infuriating; yet, at the same time I marvel at how much progress we are making.

GG, is that even possible to have time for a third party run? How would that work getting on all the ballots?

About 40,000 people so far have voted for Paul tonight. Pretty good I'd say. These numbers of votes are really small overall anyway.

I saw hundreds of nutjobs crying and fainting for Obama in 2008. What about Obama girl and all that nonsense? I didn't call them nutjobs, but others did. Look what happened.
