CME waves from January 19th M 3.2 LDE Solar Flare Arrive as expected.

Let's see what types of Bizarre Weather this will produce around the globe...I truly believe that these types of Massive Magnetosphere Hits' energy imposed on our atmosphere is creating many Bizarre weather incidents. Such as 100 MPH winds, Snow in the Sahara, 600 Million Lightening strikes in Western Australia, Torrential downpours causing Mudslides, Landslides, massive flooding, HUGE Killer Tornadoes, AND most frighteningly the Volcanic activity relative to our inner core's reaction to the warming of our planet's surface.

Just sayin'...

The new day of the 23rd UTC started at 7:00 EST, so they just opened the new windows 47 min ago. They do an update on the kp index every three hours so they will be updating. :)

Are we expecting anything above a K6?

There is definitely a correlation of cause and effect. It's all interconnected. It is just a matter of putting the pices of the puzzle together.

Been watching this with great interest, just wondering is this going to harm our magnetic field in any way? Will we be more at risk for future hits?

Hi. Question. We've had K9 indexes in the past (at least in my recent memory) and nothing significant happened. Is it just the duration that is the concern here?

We are currently watching a flare in progress. The flare is at C6 and rising.

SDO indicates two CMEs being released from separate Sunspot Regions during this flare. We will be updating here...

We can now see that Sunspot Region 1402 is the Source of this flare. We have a CME being released from Regions 1401 1402 collectively and a smaller one from 1405.


Flare is currently M1.0
