Religion is fiction. Jesus is salvation.

Religion is a man made creation used as an attempt to control and profit from what God did for us. In all but a very few cases, religion is an insult to God, to Jesus and to the very creation and existence of man.

I'm saying this and I have attended church 99.9% of every sunday for the past 28 years. I am an elder, I've been a teacher. In my heart I know that the majority attend church because they feel they are expected to or its "fun". They might worship a little but not very much.

Don't mistake religion for salvation. Don't mistake religion for love. Don't mistake religion for what Jesus brought us and died for. Use religion to help you get where you need to be. Don't let religion use you. Like all other creations of man, it will use you and throw you away like a used kleenex.

I absolutely agree with you, and have always said that religion is fiction, and JESUS is salvation.

It definitely brought tears to my eyes as well. I could feel the lump of conviction in my throat, as I know I've not been living the way I should. It's easy to slip...but things like this are a way of God reminding me where my heart needs to be - with HIM!

Religion is and has always been dangerous. Men try to work their way to God. They rely on works, good deeds, self righteousness, an organization, Mary, how much money they give the church or other works.

Jesus rebuked the religious leaders far more than he ever did the down and out sinner.

He tried to impress upon them that the only way to God was allowing Christ to rule their hearts and lives... throughout the OT, the Scriptures taught that God created man to live with him...the New Testament teaches that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice to settle the matter of sin forever, He conquered death so that He could live with us forever.... the personal relationship with us is what God is after...not attendance in a buiilding or organization, not by our works, which are as filthy rags without Jesus ruling our lives.

I have never been religious because the bible, to me, has always been a book of lies to be used as a control and separation tool. It was a man made object created by man to control man. The church is a daily, visual representation of that control.

And ^THIS^ is why most Catholics will NEVER get it (or HIM for that matter). Because to admit this video is true would be to turn the mirror on themselves and their elaborate churches and say "we've had it all wrong". Something religion (Catholics and protestants alike) will NEVER admit to! For them it is not about Jesus Christ but about THEMSELVES! De-constructing? Actually, your video with the uneducated "atheist" did quite the opposite - he simply reinforced why so many folks are lost sheep when it comes to the difference between truly being saved by Christ, and "RELIGION".

You see, religion is NOT from God. Religion does NOT even closely or accurately define what it means to be a Christian, or simply a faithful child of God.

Quite opposite, true faith and love in Jesus and mankind directly goes AGAINST what the "religious" figures have taught you - and this is why you still, fool-heartedly, believe in the lost individual that created the video you posted.

Unfortunately, the guy has no argument other than to immediately criticize and ATTEMPT to "de-construct" this truth message.

I wholeheartedly agree! And while it's so difficult, I had to one day turn the mirror toward myself and realize that just "going to church" and being seen in the church "establishment" would not secure me salvation.

I will speak out against religion until my dying day, but one-on-one with folks who truly want to hear. But, as with any agitator and manipulator (the chief of deception!), satan has implemented a great and tragic blow against man...it's quite sad that there's so many who will STILL reject a message like this because of their constant bombardment of propagandized religion.

But, praise God there's many, MANY views and the message is being seen!
