It is my experience that those who preach religion or "God" are superficial Christians whereas those that keep it to themselves and actually surprise you when you find out they're Christian, they are the true Christians.

Your relationship with God and Jesus is very personal, much like your relationship with your spouse; you don't go around talking about it or pushing it on people and displaying it on Facebook. You don't get into arguments with people about how your relationship with your spouse is the best and your way is the best way.

If I believe I can help somebody by motivating them spiritually, then I will. I was born again at one of the lowest moments of my life; at one of the darkest, scariest times I've known. My anxiety and panic attacks had control of my life, 24/7 and I didn't know who I was. I felt like a ghost walking around in a hologram; a world that wasn't real and had no spirit or soul. I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize myself. A friend prayed with me, brought me to Jesus.

To me, that's the way our love of God and Jesus should be shared, not by arguing with atheists or by sending chain emails. In my everyday life, you'd probably not know I was a Christian except for my WWJD wrist band, which I wear as a personal reminder, not for others to admire.

Just like the guy says in the video, in so many words, Christians ARE sinners, that's what makes them Christians. Christ died for our sins; if we weren't sinners he wouldn't have had to do that. If the mere act of believing in God made the world stop sinning, then Jesus wouldn't have had to give his life, period.

I sometimes wonder, what do atheists get out of belittling Christians? Calling our beliefs a "fairy tale". There is a moral compass that we all posses. Whether you believe in God or not, you have the inherent ability to know right from wrong, mean from nice, ugly from beautiful yet atheists make a conscious choice to be mean and ugly. They could choose to keep their beliefs to themselves just like true Christians do, but they don't. Instead they choose to attack, belittle and insult. I've tried to understand the mindset that would lead them to make that choice; to lash out whether than just keep their beliefs personal and to themselves. I've given up. Honestly, I don't care. Being a Christian doesn't mean being a doormat.

What does he mean the churches dont feed the poor? there are a lot of churches that help people with food, clothes and shelter. and what does he mean its bad to go to church when youve just watched some porn? church is for the sick sinners isnt it?? instead of acting holier than thou, why dont you pray for the sick sinners, pray that jesus will give them strength to overcome their sins, instead of rapping away your holier than though song, hoping to get famous of it, but I will pray for you anyway.

Churches are mostly places where men go to be seen that they go to church, extend bribes of glass, stone, and mortar so that perhaps later on in the week they may uselessly boast with pride about who has the biggest and brightest steeple or the heaviest dangling bells.

Meanwhile each evening the sun casts a shadow from that very steeple over many a forgotten, weary soul, those who quietly pray alone each night and coming as close to God as they could hope to be while breathing of the earth.

The message in the video is much truth mixed with little very subtle but extremely dangerous error.

Religion is not the infection, nor the disease.

It is SIN which is the disease.

The church in Israel's time was called as 'playing the harlot' for it corrupted the faith, the religion given them by YAHVEH Himself.

To categorize all 'religion' as evil and corrupt is to categorize God Himself as corrupt.

Like I said, much truth, with a bit of dangerous error and twists of truth.

Where is the message of REPENTANCE, of DYING TO SIN & SELF, of SORROW FOR MY SINS WHICH PIERCED MY KING, of TAKING UP THE CROSS DAILY & LIVING THE LIFE OF CHRIST?

Christ believed in freedom.

Jesus Christ was the ultimate freedom fighter.

If you are a religious person, the bible tells you that the highest level to reach is to become Christ like.

Jesus even though he was bound and nailed to a cross was never owned, never bowed down, and never gave his freedom away.

Jesus Christs ultimate fight was for freedom, not only for himself, but for all who were willing to accept his gift.

He talked about being free from sin
Rescuing souls and setting them free from Satan,
and the most important one of all, freedom of free will.
He even fought for your freedom to not accept his gift.

Why do you think the Christian message is attacked with so much hatred? The NWO hates Christians. I'm not talking about religion, because Jesus never did establish a religion. Religion was invented by man for purpose of control, much like many who call themselves christians who want to take away your free will to make your own mistakes. They want to create a sterile world where there are no temptations, they sometimes even want the state to enforce morality, and that isn't freedom either, and it's not what Christ taught.

Because other than what is now in your heart, no one truly knows what the true gospel of Jesus even was. A small group of men gathered over 200 years after Christ, threw out half the stories of the bible, and selected those that gave them the greatest control over the populous. That is what he means by the Idea that Jesus never taught religion. Not to mention misguided religions like the Catholic religion, the word Pope, never once appears in the bible. Bishops, nuns, and catholic traditions were not created by Christ, and I just love those who offer up the blood, and body of Christ, but deny anyone who has not been indoctrinated. I doubt very seriously that Jesus would appreciate organized religion pretending to be the only gateway to his grace and gift. These people turning away the children of God are in for a very very rude awakening.

The word pope, never crossed the lips of Christ, and yet people bow down and kiss ring as if he were Christ.

The true gospel of Jesus Christ is found in the Bible, both the Old and New Testament.

It is evident that barely anyone ever reads it, nor compares Scripture with Scripture to gain understanding.

This video gave me pause. As a non religious person it made more sense to me than all the religious crap that has been thrown at me all my life.

I have always believed that religion is business, big business. All about control and money, not about us.

But I come here because the general consensus of this website used to be what christians hate.

yup i knew it. As soon as i saw the still photo of this kids smiling grin- I knew he was about to say something fucking stupid.

Great start, but a few things:

- take this one more logical step
(and leave out the jesus part, because it could be buddha, mohammed, or any other religious figure)

- religion and "worship" are the same thing
(so if you say my jesus is better than yours then you are doing the same thing he is saying is wrong with religion)

- lose the rules and the creeds and remember the message
(the message is just unconditional love, nothing else. pretty simple)

- you aren't inherently "flawed" and need "saving"
(you just need to find that source of unconditional love inside you and let it guide you. The "saving" story was good for the church to control ppl into certain behaviour, like seeking your fulfillment in an external figure instead of yourself. Unconditional love can only be within YOU, nobody/nothing else)

- understand that jesus/buddha/mohammed is a metaphor for love
(and you need to find THAT unconditional love inside you first. and FEEL it. for everyone and everything, then you will see we're all connected.)

- try being open to the things that make us appear separate and things that make us feel as one
(when we see and FEEL that we are all one we would never want to cause harm, pain, judgement, or suffering for anyone ever again - REGARDLESS of what they believe...)

The old testament is the bloodiest book I have ever read.
If he's not busy drowning the entire global population (which by the way never were offered the opportunity for the forgiveness of their sins, I guess god created those souls for the purpose of feeding the fires of hell) then he is telling the Jewish people to march into their promised land, and slaughter everything down to the goats and chickens, a total scorched earth policy of let no living thing survive. It was a complete book of horrors with thousands getting their heads beat in with the jaw bone of an ass, or being turned into pillars of salt. Suffer the wrath!!!!

Then Christ shows up, and he's so passive that he can't even fight back as he is lead through the streets and dragged to his death, because he is so full of love that he is doing it for our sins. He heals the sick, walks on water, and talks of the love that God has for us all. All of a sudden God sent down his only son to be crucified, because he loves us so much, the people in the old testament that he drowned, he didn't love them so much.

Honestly if I didn't know better, I would say that it was some Jewish conspiracy to slap the teachings of Jesus onto the tail end of the Jewish book of religion. The old testament, and new testament make God look schizophrenic or bipolar.


With all this said, deep down in my heart, I believe. My head says question and my heart says love thy god my father. I think the teachings of Christ are correct.

I especially like the only time he got extremely angry, it was at the MONEY CHANGERS!
