You need about 1200 degrees farenheit to destroy prions (the cause of all the different brain encephalopathies). I thought to myself, they'll get into the plants and get passed to more animals. So fast forward to now and I have this boyfriend who claims to be a time traveller and has told me all kinds of stuff about our future up until 2036. I believe him and one thing he has said several times was that mad cow disease was going to wipe out so many people and animals it would be as if a big asteroid hit the earth. Sorry I lack punctuation when I get excited, and not excited in a good way. He said it would be a huge deal and pretty much everyone is already infected. He said alcohol helps, LOL. And when we all get the chips in our head it will be a "cure" due to and electrical impulse that will keep it from crystallizing our brains. So I looked into it and man it's true! These things have only spread due to our dumbass global economy and the animal products used to make vaccines, etc.  Check out www.mad-cow.org. I was kinda surprised because it seems like a non-issue as are so many things with the media these days. Then I find that Alzheimer's patients had spongy brains after death at a way highr rate than you would think if it's a one in a million shot. There are many other shocking facts when you go down this rabbit hole. Anyways the boyfriend said it's already starting but it's not going to happen overnight. The American version of this disease has a long incubation rate, 20 years and more. Isn't this Alzheimer's epidemic interesting when considering it might not be just the aluminum ? I have a greater chance of choking on that hot dog and dying. LOL! The chance of dying from variant CJD (associated with spongiform encephalopathy in cattle, or mad cow disease) in the UK is about 1 in 12 million in any one year. The chance of death from CJD of any cause (most cases aren't cattle related) in any one year is about 1 in 750,000. If I remember right, it's like 1 in 40,000,000 chance in the US. Not anything I'm going to lose sleep over, that's for sure. |

Most cow calf people would not have used these products anyway. The probabilities of mad cow being in the USA is extremely remote in my opinion. I am a rancher and am informed on these matters.
