Re: Wondering if I unkowingly sold my soul.
I don't swear and oath to anything, not even if I was told to swear with my hand on the Holy bible, it is against my beliefs. The bible says not to swear and oath on anything or to anything because only God can do that, he owns the heaven and earth and everything in it. I wouldn't swear to the heavens, on an alter, or even a leader nothing because that is Gods place and not mine.

I have friends, I can gather together with but we don't have to have a secret oath. No secrets for me I don't like them, they are like lying.

Call me weird but that is the way I see it.

God will forgive it if you ask through Jesus Christ and mean it. He want even see that in you at the time of judgment, All sins that you have asked to be forgiven for are not seen or judged. You are clean in Gods eyes after you ask Christ to forgive you but you have to believe in him and his Father first!

I am truthful as best as I can be in all I say even on here.
I find lying one of the worse things a person can do, You can't trust a lair about anything. If a person has lied to me
then they can come to me and tell me about it and say they are sorry, that is the only way, then I will see the truth in their eyes, I'll know if they are being truthful to me.

Re: Wondering if I unkowingly sold my soul.
To lump members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in with cultists like Masons and other non-fraternal organizations is not only unfair but inaccurate. No religious stipulation is ever conditional of one's acceptance for membership in the F.O.E. All it is, or ever has been, is a chance for like-minded people to gather to do work for the benefit of others, hence the F.O.E.'s motto of "People Helping People". Plenty of patriots of all stripes, from athletes like Max Baer and Gordie Howe, or entertainers like Bob Hope, and politicians like FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan have been Eagles, and none of them have been bound by any specific religious creed. Their interview before acceptance as member merely asked if they believed in a "supreme being", a concept left to the interviewee to interpret in their own way. While a few remnants remain from its initial founding remain (such as oath taking, which every religious and non-religious organization dictated that allegiance be declared to some "higher power") many join the Eagles every year and their donations of their own funds or their own time working toward raising funds for worthy causes are entirely voluntary. Most Eagle members do not participate in direct expansion of the F.O.E. membership nor do they personally endorse any specific causes from society who campaign for support -- one is free to raise funds for any charity they wish. Giving to others less fortunate than ourselves is a common pursuit, and anyone's religion is that individual's right to practice accordingly. I personally know Lutheran Eagles, Catholic Eagles, Mennonite Eagles, Jewish Eagles, Buddhist Eagles and Atheistic Eagles; all are equally welcome and equally ranked. No Eagles has gained "power" to influence anyone or to better their lot within the structure of society. We refuse to believe in any "damage" others may claim we are doing to God or to our own eternal souls. We are just "People Helping People", so please leave our fraternity out of your discussions about what is wrong with "lodges" (which Eagles do not have) and how damned everyone is because you feel they have been duped into either supporting (or endorsing) Satan. It's all nonsense. Everything about the F.O.E. is voluntary and none of us think that the Eagles have ever done any harm to anyone since the advent of the fraternity in its 119 years. In fact, it is entirely likely that your place of worship has at least one time received funds or support from a local F.O.E. Aerie in the more than 1,500 communities that are lucky enough to boast the presence of an F.O.E. Aerie nearby. I personally know of four churches in the city in which I live that have received various forms of support from the F.O.E. despite (or regardless) of the fact that those raising the funds or crewing one of our Disaster Relief trailers who were, are and will always be of no specific faith (or of any faith at all). I know of two churches saved from closure by atheist members of the F.O.E. So if those actions are "damnable" then I just guess we'll be damned. Thank goodness that by your own definitions, said damnation will not be left up to you lot to decide. It sounds like you spend more than enough time judging and damning people that God could perform in a month of Sundays. And the diehard faithful remain incredulous to why organized religions have diminished in influence and advocates: it's the practitioners themselves who are the real reason. I'll continue helping others; God may judge me if he wants, but I think Jesus will put in at least one good word for the members of the F.O.E. All the rest is just self-serving jargon anyway.

You need to renounce your covenant that you made and you will be set free from it in Jesus name.

I witnessed people getting set free through deliverance from free masonary as well as myself as my grandfather was a free mason. These covenants carry spiritual ties and need to be cast out.
Bless you and hope this will help you.

Re: Wondering if I unkowingly sold my soul.
So back when I was 21 I joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles. I didn't think much about it because the only reason I joined was for cheap beer but I started recently thinking about the initiation I took when I joined. I guess I'm wondering if I gotten myself into something I don't understand??

No THEY sell your soul in mystery babylon not the other way around. It's in the bible...it's not just external but an internal thing...this is why those "kings" hate the WOB. But at the end of the day it's like storybook programming there are people who walked through this and wrote about it in lyrics. So...it's already happened again and again in reality that you couldn't perceive.

Just know this ....Truth is God and God is truth. If you know that you'll be ok. that is the foundation. rest in that. Let that help you live in peace. We live in a world of so many lies and secrets but you know that what really happened actually happened and was recorded by a higher force. Know that and you'll e ok. Only truth exist.

Technically you cannot sell your soul because it is not yours to sell.
The soul belongs to God your Creator who is the sovereign owner of your soul. But you can enter into a legal agreement with a demon spirit of your own free will which will bind you to them. Go and see a Catholic Priest as your 1st port of call for advice.

I cannot believe the utter nonsense in this thread. As an Eagle Member of 15 years, I have been part of an organization that helps out those in need, and whose membership consists of some of the finest people I know.
As far as occult and any dark or negative connotations, there are none.
In this day an age, for a person to toss Christianity as some sort of better way of being is obnoxious and laughable.

No, though the elite presume they can trick people. You have to consciously choose knowing what it is, literally.
