But notice I said that fit in with the other names, they are named fairly common names, and some of the ones you suggested are not very common. Also, the list they have is six names that are rotated through. Meaning you would have to come up with six fairly common names for each letter as well as have some reserve ones in case one of the hurricanes were bad enough for the name to be retired. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 4665 United States 10/23/2005 01:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Looking at the projected track last night of Alpha I noticed it was going to turn and go north and head up the North Atlantic. Almost on a parallel course with Wilma posibbly, close enough to "join" forces. That is now in the realm of probability as it is one of the computer models. Not going to make a major cane, but could make for a miserable raininy windy period for the upper NE. Wilma takes the energy from Alpha. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 4665 United States 10/23/2005 02:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In an interview with a local FLorida news meteoroligist the deputy director stated that they know see Alpha becoming part of Wilma. No direct threat from that. Wonder what the tempertures will be in the NE around the middle to end of next week. Low ground hugging cold front, combined with lots of moisture. Is it possible. Snowed up in that area last night, Nova Scotia could get blasted from this combined storm. NO prediction on strength when it is in the upper N. Atlantic. |

Stayed long enough to miss the "first" train that forecasters thought she would take. Instead ol Wilma decided to slow down to nothing and miss that first front and hang around to suck the energy out of of a lot of ojects and lives of people. Hurrican Wilma The first Hurricane of the last of the line to be able to "suck" the energy from Alpha (tropical depression never a hurricane). Wilma becomes the last of the first. |
