HELPFUL LINKS FOR VERIFYING & PARSING FUKUSHIMA RADIATION INFO...incl TEPCO & IAEA
OFFICIAL LINKS For Verifying & Parsing Fukushima Radiation Info...Consider Saving for Reference

and please, consider pinning for today...thank you (and, 5 star, if you find this helpful)

As there are an increasing number of threads related in one way or another to Fukushima disaster, I have compiled a short list of some of the sites that I have used to help clarify the information that I have been reading, in order to gain a greater understanding of the situation...and, what it might really mean to us all as time advances.

These links can be used to help you parse what you may be reading. Although knowledge may come with a heavy price, ignorance is not necessarily as blissful as the old maxim prescribes.

From here, you can find other sources.

I urge you to post the links that you have, so this can be a one-stop thread for finding useful information.

======================================================

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF LINKS TO VARIOUS SITES
WHERE INFORMATION IS TO BE FOUND CONCERNING JAPAN'S RADIATION EMISSIONS

======================================================

TEPCO ARCHIVES

For those of you interested in seeing TEPCO's reports, go to the following link and browse through the archived dates:

[link to www.tepco.co.jp]

Note: TEPCO has made a habit of UNDER-REPORTING. Read between the lines, and, focus on what is NOT being reported, that should have been recorded. They consistently targeted Iodine and Cesium levels, while ignoring the rest, for example, the products of Reactor Number 3, which contain MOX fuel.

======================================================
IAEA FUKUSHIMA ARCHIVES:

[link to www.iaea.org]

Day One Update, through June 2nd, 2011 ONLY, for unknown reason:
[link to www.iaea.org]

NOTE: Take from the IAEA what you will, but, understand that they had a heavy hand in downplaying the information coming out of TEPCO, and I would advise you believe anything you read with a jaded eye.

======================================================

Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology

Their site has a WEALTH of daily reports, under the heading:

Monitoring information of environmental radioactivity level.

[It seems to have changed/expanded from last summer. I did not see links to archives, but, it must be there somewhere.]

[link to www.mext.go.jp]

The Japanese page includes regional maps that link to specific zones.

In the early weeks of the disaster, I became familiar with certain Japanese symbols, in order to glean reported levels. The site now has expansive English versions. [Suffice it to say that I was consumed by a need to know.]

======================================================

The following site has concise information for every element and it's isotopes to be found in the periodic table.

An interesting aspect of this site is that it includes the normal background levels that are found in humans, such as Cesium, for example:

Levels In Humans:
Note: this data represents naturally occuring levels of elements in the typical human, it DOES NOT represent recommended daily allowances.
Blood/mg dm-3: 0.0038
Bone/p.p.m: 0.013-0.052
Liver/p.p.m: 0.04-0.05
Muscle/p.p.m: 0.07-1.6
Daily Dietary Intake: 0.004-0.03 mg
Total Mass In Avg. 70kg human: 6 mg

Such info may help you note the reliability of the articles you are accessing, to assess if the information is being skewed:

[link to environmentalchemistry.com]

[link to environmentalchemistry.com]

======================================================

This one, also periodic table based, shows the decay chains of all of the known isotopes of each element.

It is very informative, and, easy to follow.

I have it on Iodine, but you can access the others easily by using the two charts FOUND ON EACH PAGE:

[link to periodictable.com]

======================================================
Thess are two Wiki pages regarding Fission Products.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

=========================================================

Finally, a link to the IAEA's Live Chart of Nuclides.

As awesome as it is, it's a bit too advanced for my limited understanding, although I am pretty sure that there are others here who may find it much more interesting and informative:

[link to www-nds.iaea.org]

=========================================================

Outside of these more official and technical links, I really do urge you to consider digging a bit deeper if you come across an increase in startling information.

You might consider setting news alerts on your phone or PC, for terms such as: 'radiation' and 'Fukushima'.

There's no harm ignoring these daily deposits into your email or apps, but, the information will be there should you care to start monitoring for yourself. And, hopefully, add to our knowledge.

Thanks for reading this. Add it to your favorites for future reference, since events coming from Fukushima are not likely to go away any time soon.

Thanks for this amazing link!

It contains a number of informative videos, that are eye-opening and informative.
Regarding the first link:

A professional video of Marco Kaltofen's presentation to the American Public Health Association was recently made available to Fairewinds. Kaltofen states that hot particles are contaminating portions of northern Japan. He also states that auto air filters from Fukushima, that he tested in his Massachusetts laboratory, are so radioactive that they have to be disposed of in a buried radioactive waste disposal site in the US. Additionally, he expresses concerns for the mechanics who work on cars in Fukushima Prefecture.

Because even people who did not submit the dosimeter received “a result” for some reason, it’s highly likely to be manipulated as well. 450 microSv/m is known to cause severe damage to unborn babies. Posted by Mochizuki on December 7th, 2011

A Japanese citizen (Tatoo artist) tweeted that he measured beta ray from chocolate. The chocolate is a type of snack in a tube, made in Ishioka, Ibaraki. The background radiation (beta ray) was 0.000 microSv/h. It picked 0.004 microSv/h on the chocolate. The max reading was 0.005 microSv/h.

Fukushima can't fizzle out, it's the doom that keeps on giving! I do wish there was more concrete data and less speculation though. My biggest concern is TEPCO seems to base everything on computer simulations but they aren't inputting verifiable data. Nothing good can come from that!

I have been in an information collecting mode of every scrap of evidence posted by NHK World, to include ICR recordings of relevant video clips. Except for about 5 days at the end of September and from November 16 thru December 12th, when they changed their system and the system storage and auto delete mechanisms.

I will eventually be posting on the Net about 300 documents that I have collected, but I have not yet had time to study the anti-spamming guidelines here and don't know what I'm allowed to post. I'll get to that, though. Anyway, we first have to figure out how to display the stuff we have.

As I wrote in another thread, as of my posting of questions in the other thread I am now shifting from just collecting information to putting together a complete picture of everything we can prove.

And that's the key for us -- PROVE IT! No guessing. No fancy theories. No fancy playing with words like a politician. Just very basic explanations with proof. If we can't prove it it goes in a file titled something like a Pending.

It's very basic here right now. Nobody really knows what to believe or who to believe. They only want easy to understand facts. That's what we are going to try and give them. They, the people, will do what they wish, not me. Not my Team. We just did the gathering and piecing together work. The political activism has to be in the hands of others.

This is a defining moment for the Japanese people. Things can change, but it has to be the people who stand up and demand the changes necessary. On the other hand, if this opportunity is allowed to slip away, that will also be a defining moment. It will mean the bovine excrement dished out by the powers that be won't be stopped for another 100 years until the next chance comes along.
