I don't know about Satanists, but they sure were "groovy" to a lot of middle class teen age girls.

I'm old enough to remember how they were considered geeks to the people who were serious about rock and roll and music as an art form as opposed to corporate pop music marketers.

John was a great guy. Ringo just made a lot of money and had a lot of fun. George wanted to get more serious about the creative aspect of what they were doing and Paul, well, he was out there for his ego and the cash.

"Deep" is really a big stretch when describing the Beatles.

Now Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Barely Manenough. Those guys could rock out man.
