There will be more Democrats retiring before 2012 as it becomes more clear that they won't win the House back. Without House leadership positions, they can't engage in their usual corruption and graft, and then what good is a governmental position worth to them?

After the GOP won control of the House in 94, alot of Dems either retired or switched parties. The same will happen here.
