Yes, I am aware of that. So you see it wasn't just a joke when I asked if he should be an expert martial artist or master marksmen.

I know the role he is to play, what i'm getting at is what type of information should he teach himself in order to achieve his mission? I'm sure somebody knows something...

So, just for kicks. say if you wanted to awaken your christ consciousness where would you start? I'm not saying you have or you havent but if you wanted to...what would be the first place to look? Would you focus specifically on building up those character attributes or would you teach yourself the fundamentals of the universe and the true nature of humanity/god?

If Christ were here, I think he would say...I love you bro. I like your style, that's solid advice. In other words, just cut the bullshit and get on with it. Get to the nitty gritty...if he needs to know, he'll get the message ;)

That is a interesting theory.. but I don't see it proving true.. I would have to try it with someone else and not do it myself. if it is tried and true it is really interesting

It definately helps to move around this earth having your priorities straight to navigate through all the lies and deception. Something happens when you prioritize your life in the correct order which helps you to recognize the truth in things.

It's worked for me the past few years making strides in my own personal fulfillment. The way I see it, God should be first in everything. Pray first thing in the morning just to give thanks for making it another day and be greatful for the chance to take another breath, and realize that life is beautiful even when you think it's hell on earth. Be greatful for the chance to be alive just one more day.

+ I also put god first because the creator of all came first before anything. It's self explanatory.

Next, you should put yourself second to god. How can you take care of anyone else if you can't take care of yourself? Not only that, but you teach yourself to be self reliant. When life is not giving you what you want, make a point to go out and get it yourself. God may be your spiritual guide but he's not goin to give you everything you need on a silver platter...sometimes you have to go out and get it yourself.

Third is your family. It's your family who will help you get through the worst of times. Love your brother as yourself, and together you can move mountains. (A quote from jesus, not exact but close enough)

Fourth is your friends. Good frienships are close like family. To love your neighbor as yourself means to love a stranger you do not know, and have love for that person to the point where you would risk yourself to save that person. If you can see that in yourself you will have understood one of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Last but not least you must remember to replenish the Earth.
This is our home, let's keep it that way. I'm no messiah but i would give my life for my people. It is love that will bring us together, so spread the love. Love your people. Love your neighbor as yourself and love the most high, that which is up above and the greatest incarnation of love. Don't forget to love yourself.

I think learning every aspect of being human is more important than learning how to fight :)

thanks. oh sometimes i get in this messed up pattern or groove and then sometimes i am just the opposite.. I also have had some crazy and strange things going on for a while. One thing that gets me is how others try to push their way of things or beliefs or this or that on another.. it makes me want to resist.. things are weird right now here. I am not sure what's right and good or the best for one is what is or what works for another though. thanks for the input

that makes sense though b/c people make things happen.. some things or anything.. if you understand what I am saying. Looks like one of those things that people would swear by and the next guy calls bs.. I am not sure who is right

Why do people think there should be one guy that will step in and save the day? Messiahs, Superman, Batman, they're all the same.

Why not just do something to save yourself and the people you care about instead of sitting on your ass and waiting for some imaginary friend to do it for you?

It's a rather weak god that allows his message to be distorted so easily.

Had he spoken clearly, without parables, there would be no distortion. Had he spoken clearly, without parables, it would mean that he wanted everyone to hear and everyone to be "saved." He didn't do that. Ergo, he wanted the distortion, and he wanted to only save certain people. This stands as circumstantial evidence that he was not who you think he is.

he spoke in parables for a reason. and that reason was that imo not to distort things.. parables are simple and not twisted. chances are you are right he didn't want to save certain people. he was exactly who he is portrayed to be.. imo.

That's something that was said before Jesus ever showed up. The difference is, he claimed to be God, or others claimed it for him and he didn't correct them. In any event, a "god" should have more to say than just repeating other sages that came before him. An extraordinary being should say and do extraordinary things. His doings were more like magic tricks, and his sayings were either remakes, contradictory, ignorant, or beyond sanity.

No. Parables are not simple. They are stories and can have numerous interpretations. (Probably why there are so many different Christian sects.) A statement, on the other hand, is direct and it's hard to misinterpret. Jesus gives a parable about a slave that goes on and on but never actually addresses the idea of slavery itself!

Instead of a parable, a REAL loving god would have made a statement like: "Slavery is wrong. Do not make other human beings into slaves." Case closed. But, he didn't. His silence on slavery speaks volumes! Not addressing it indicates he approved of it!

First off, he should learn how to teach other people to stop depending on him for things they are perfectly capable of doing themselves. He needs to figure out a way to let every individual know that they are the ones they have been waiting for.

Jesus didn't actually sacrifice anything. It's only a sacrifice if you give up something -- like your life.

Jesus, on the other hand, did not really give up his life. He came back to life and KNEW he would come back to life. He was gone for three days -- a long weekend. Amazing anybody even missed him! Lots of comatose people have been virtually dead for much longer.

The soldiers that fight and die in wars to gain your freedom -- those guys make REAL sacrifices. Jesus was a pussyboy and gave up nothing!

According to your bible, everyone lives on forever anyway, it's just that some of them are tortured forever. And your loving god does this to people. I think you should step back from your god and take a good look at him. He's kind of evil!
