"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Hillary and Barry are working overtime to figure out how to get our guns. Our forefathers were smart enough to make sure we could keep guns. They didn't do it so we could shoot up a bunch of targets. "Our goal is to leave lands open to shooting," said an Interior official for the Bureau of Land Management, which is drafting guidelines to deal with the growing clash between skittish urbanites moving to western wilderness areas and America's tradition of letting gun owners shoot targets on public lands. [Read: Obama Pushing Shooters Off Public Lands.] "We don't want to have to close any areas," said an official as BLM provided Washington Whispers with a statement clarifying the developing guidelines. The uproar of the people stopped them from taking another step toward gun control. Even though the Supreme Court slapped them down for banning guns in DC, they thought they could ban them in national forrests. Barry will never give up, and Hillary is pushing him to take all our guns. We have to stop them. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. The fact that national parks were ever gun-free baffles me. At some point I'd like to hope that people will realize that guns don't just hop up on their own accord and shoot people. And even getting rid of guns wouldn't solve anything. People have a unique ability of finding new and exciting ways to kill each other which is what they would do if guns were banned. Guns.. are not.. the problem. You don't read much about it, but there have been a lot of robberies and murders in parks in California. The bad guys know that there is very little chance of anyone having a gun there. In Yellowstone, that would be very rare because even when it was not legal everyone had guns. I don't know anyone that ever went to Yellowstone without a gun. A gun might be a handy thing to have if a bear decides you are dinner too. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Like you're free or something. Quoting: Silversurfer 4362253 That would be a problem for them out here in the west. There is a lot of land and very few BLM agents. They mellow right out if there are a few armed people together. I don't see the G-men being a big problem. Even though a lot of them are dickheads, they don't try to enforce imaginary laws. If you are not alone, they are polite and courteous. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. Besides, if you read the 2nd amendment, you will know it's for exactly this moment, but there is no gratification in actually doing that. Yet, people still want to bitch about their 2nd amendment rights... as if they are actually going to use their guns for what the law intended them for to begin with. Besides none of this legislation is for us anyway... Now people are declaring a win on an issue that was never really up for debate... they just pretended like it was... to scare everybody into clutching to their firearms... So, it's just propaganda. |
