Do you know how to make colloidal silver???? I have questions
I would like to try to make some. I have seen several different you tube videos and read different things, some are conflicting. My questions are:

Can you use pure silver coins .999 to make it or do you have to use rods?

Using batteries, does it make a whole batch or do they run out before the process is over?

Do you leave the rods in for a certain amount of time and let the grey goop form on one, or keep pulling them out and cleaning them during the process, for a total of 3 times in the water?

Some say it should be clear or slightly yellow is ok, others say that the yellow indicates that its overdone.

I would like to be able to ask you additional questions if you post, so please check back. Thanks in advance.

I have been making it for 3 years, it is useful but far from and end all to disease.

I would not use batteries as you would spend a fortune replacing them.

Use a 9 volt adapter and alligator clips to hold the rods and apply current while in the container

I only use rods and found that you have to heat the "distilled" water to almost boiling before you turn the current on.

After about 40 minutes it will turn gold and you will have fresh ionic silver with a small amount of particulate silver.

It works well so long as its in contact with with the surface being treated, drinking it like an antibiotic is useless IMO, real colloidal silver requires a larger set up and high voltage.

I have not tried it yet but I plan to soon.

Thank you both for the info. I was thinking in a shtf type scenario it would be good to have, but how do you make it with no elec, other than batteries.

Well you cant, I would go solar if that were a concern.
Even a small panel should work as you don't need much amps or voltage

5 yrs ago i bought a silver gen. from robey. at the time it was expensive but now theyve came down but I just set the dial for the ppm that i want (up to 100)and hit the green button.when its done the light goes off.
ive never heard of using silver coins but i have heard that early settlers used to put silver nuggets in their rain barrels to keep the water healthy. So i guess there is a degree of degradation in the water just sitting there.thats why i dont drink from aluminum cans because of the alshiemers connection with aluminum.

I use to make them.. if you want a freebee as I have some and no use to me email me at garymichael(AT)email.com and I will answer your questions and if you pay the postage about US$2 I'll send you a freebee unit...USe only Medical grade as that grade only guarantees purity... and you must have a current regulator don't use batteries directly... micro particulates is essential to high quality... have fun with your project!

Use only silver maples .9999 purity. Use an old 9v to 12v DC transformer and use distilled water.

3 x PP9 9volt batteries (or more) in series is fine. So is an adapter that produces 30+ volts DC. Never seen one of those though.

.999 fine silver is perfect (coins of that purity are same)

The solution will be yellow if the water is heated during the electrolysis. The yellow indicates smaller particle size (caused by the atoms diffracting light) If you're going to ingest it, you probably want to avoid yellow CS... it's bitter like you wouldn't believe lol!!

Wipe the electrodes as the solution saturates or larger clusters will drop into the solution. You want small clusters of silver.

Batteries last ages. So do the electrodes, unless they're paper thin or you use very high current/have them too close together.

Use a really bright torch (or a laser pointer... green pointers are brighter) to see the solution progressing. Should take about an hour (ish).

Once the solution saturates, all that happens is silver will form large clusters & migrate between electrodes or start to pool on the surface like little mirrored puddles. You want the smallest possible clusters in the purest available water. Tap water is full of chlorine.... avoid unless you like the taste of the toxic silver chloride!

High voltage at low current is preferred over low voltage at high current. So, more batteries in series + electrodes set wide apart is the best. If the electrodes fizz & bubble, you're way overdoing it.

CS reacts with oxygen & light, turning black. Store it in a brown glass bottle/opaque bottle with a screw top. Use it immediately for best results.

connect the terminals small batteries or use a car battery. seen in done in the bush like that. the

maker had 25 yrs experience though, and was making topical, not internal colloid.

bottom line is the best stuff is at saturation levels and particles are of a small enough size to pass

between cells.

saturation level is way below what some makers claim their product contains, can't remember it

exactly ,but it is under 50 ppm. at home you will make 6 to 12ppm, a good comercial product,

colloidal truth, has 22ppm.

you need equipment to measure ppm and micron size to really assess what you have made

accurately.

you must use 99.99 silver rods or wire and stop the process every five minutes to clean their

surfaces at home. coins would be contaminated, as well as having a uv exposed, oxidised surface.

silver used must be kept away from sunlight.

it is really a process of learn as you go. have fun.

The silver rods or coins need to be 9999 pure and either can be used as long as your colloidal silver generator can hold the coins without touching each other or the sides of the glass jar used to make the solution.

Instead of guessing how potent your colloidal silver is purchase a PPM Test Meter and you will always make it to the desired strength.

My unit takes three 9-volt batteries and I have not had to replace them even making a stronger solution, additionally I use rechargeable batteries and a solar recharger.

Turning the generator off and cleaning the rods with one of those green abrasive pads is a good idea if they become too corroded.

Always use distilled water and NEVER add salt to speed up the process because what you end up with is NOT colloidal silver.

If your colloidal silver is about 5ppm it will be mostly clear however stronger solutions take on a yellow color.

Electrolysis produces a mostly ionic silver solution. If the distilled water or apparatus is in anyway contaminated (likely) there will be silver proteins present. These are not beneficial to you.

I use 'home-made' mostly-ionic silver for cleaning mold and such around my house.

I buy nano-particle colloidal silver to ingest in my body.

Don't get me wrong, I used ionic silver for health until it didn't work for a severe heliobactur Pylori infection. Antibiotics failed twice. Nano-particle silver worked nearly instantly. A course of 3x 1-OZ daily for 3 days has never failed me or any of my loved ones since. :-)

Re: Do you know how to make colloidal silver???? I have questions
I use a 12V power adapter. I cut the handle off a stainless steel ladle (high quality stainless) and use that for the negative side. I use three 1 oz Canadian Maple leaf coins (.9999 pure silver) attached to alligator clips for the positive side - equally spaced on three sides of the negative terminal in a 4 quart glass pitcher. I also have an aquarium pump with a glass tube to send a small stream of air bubbles up around the negative terminal to stir it.

Starting with pure steam distilled water at room temperature it takes between 10 and 12 hours to brew a 1 gallon batch. I've measured the current with a multimeter & it starts out at less than 200 micro-amps. After 10 hours, it gets up to around 800 micro-amps. The end result is crystal clear and has a slight metallic taste. If you put some in a clear glass and shine a laser pointer through it, you can see that there are lots of silver particles in the water. Shine the beam through pure water & it's invisible. To the naked eye, the finished CS looks like clear water.

I do get a little black sediment (silver oxide). I filter the finished batch through a coffee filter & store it in green or dark amber beer or wine bottles. I got some European beer in dark green bottles with ceramic stoppers that make great storage containers.
