The church in the USA is MASSIVE. Sure there are different visions and opinions, but as a whole when 68% of the country says they are Christian, this means they love the way Jesus was.

Do NOT take this lightly. America was founded one nation under god and remains one nations under god. Millions are now turning and becoming born again Americans and born again Christians.

Do not be deceived. The falling away from the Church has passed. Many churches are ordering more and more chairs, adding more services.

you only have to go to youtube and read some of the comments to see the enmity thats between pre trib and post trib christians as far as the rapture is concerned - man those fueds get ugly - not to mention all the accusations and back biting between calvinists and other denominations .

The sad part is that it does put people off from finding Christ for themselves if there early experience is one of bitter fueds and being asked to take sides - all it does is play into the enemies hands.

Jesus had no real problem attacking the Religion of the Pharisees.. He bombasted them daily, calling them vipers and scorpions. Fancy gleaming grave boxes with rotten corpses on the inside. He fully condemned the doctrine of Devils.

He even warned not to think he was bringing peace, He warned that he was bringing a sword. He warned the brother would turn against brother, sister against sister, children against parents and parents against each other.

A friend of mine said it best, "I am Pan-Trib" the Rapture will "Pan out" the way God wants it to. As to the increase in arguments recently, most of the Brothers and Sisters I know feel we are right at the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation period. (within months or even days of its beginning) So I can certainly understand the desire to "know" how soon He will "catch us up". Personally, I am happy no mater how it works out. Although with some of the things that are coming, I think a "Pre-Trb" Rapture would be nice.

you are made by a loving caring god, given free will and you get to live your short little life here on earth. afterwards you get to be judged on how you spend the rest of eternity. here's the kicker though, you're not technically judged by works, but more on belief. so, that being true, means that any righeous person that doesn't believe in the bible, gets a ticket to hell. god created hell, Satan, and the lot... so why does he put you in hell if he loves you so much, and everything is his decision anyway? its all his imagination and creation. why does he give you free will and then when you die "gotcha sucker, you grew up in Tehran with Muslim parents. too bad you didn't believe in me. Christians are the only "Bible" that most nonbelievers see and hear. But true seekers of the Truth will get past that...we do not judge Christ by those who profess to be His...because there are many false possessors.....although that is all the world can know of Him until they decide to check Him out for themselves. Certainly Christians SHOULD live in such a way that the world knows there is a connection between what we believe and what we do.
I grew up in the Bible belt and it was churchgoers who initially drove me away from the Bible, along with the public school indoctrination and prevailing literature when I was seeking the truth. It took decades, because no Christians did what Christians are supposed to do by showing me The Way, but Jesus brought me into a saving knowledge of His truths, apart from any professing Christians or earthly church institutions.

Those who genuinely seek Him will find Him. His plan was and is for us....his believers...to be indwelt with His Spirit and be salt and light to lead others to Him. As a Christian, I am drawn to others who are strong in the faith, and we do not argue; God has given to every believer the Holy Spirit who will receive the Word and understand it. We have to study the Word, and we are given an aid the unbeliever does not have; if you have a sincere desire to know, He will see that you understand. Seek believers whose lives show that their lives match their faith and those who have an unwavering confidence in Jesus.

I was raised in a Baptist Church, I went to Christian and Baptist schools. Then the church that was the rock of my faith was destroyed by one evil man, who took power, removed all who opposed him, then ran off to Mexico with the contents of the church bank account along with its secretary. This turned me off from religion very quickly. If MY church could fall to that, then any church could. I spent many years studying other faiths/belief systems. I discovered ONE thing that was absolutely true, they all had ONE fault... They ALL had PEOPLE in them and running them. So I did my own research and came back to Christ based on what I had learned, not what others had taught me.

The walk with Christ is a personal one, it does no good to "go-along" with others because they say you should. Learn, study, question, God will guide you and put the right people in your life. It's up to US to see them and learn what God wants us to learn from them. No matter who they are or what they do or say.
