Well, since your Bible Quote Happy and selective, how about these bible quotes? And if you tell me i am misinterpreting them, or taking them out of context that proves my point even more.

If a man still prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall say to him, "You shall not live, because you have spoken a lie in the name of the Lord." When he prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall thrust him through. (Zechariah 13:3 NAB)

"I have wiped out many nations, devastating their fortress walls and towers. Their cities are now deserted; their streets are in silent ruin. There are no survivors to even tell what happened. I thought, 'Surely they will have reverence for me now! Surely they will listen to my warnings, so I won't need to strike again.' But no; however much I punish them, they continue their evil practices from dawn till dusk and dusk till dawn." So now the LORD says: "Be patient; the time is coming soon when I will stand up and accuse these evil nations. For it is my decision to gather together the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by the fire of my jealousy. "On that day I will purify the lips of all people, so that everyone will be able to worship the LORD together. My scattered people who live beyond the rivers of Ethiopia will come to present their offerings. (Zephaniah 3:6-10 NLT)

"You Ethiopians will also be slaughtered by my sword," says the LORD. And the LORD will strike the lands of the north with his fist. He will destroy Assyria and make its great capital, Nineveh, a desolate wasteland, parched like a desert. The city that once was so proud will become a pasture for sheep and cattle. All sorts of wild animals will settle there. Owls of many kinds will live among the ruins of its palaces, hooting from the gaping windows. Rubble will block all the doorways, and the cedar paneling will lie open to the wind and weather. This is the fate of that boisterous city, once so secure. "In all the world there is no city as great as I," it boasted. But now, look how it has become an utter ruin, a place where animals live! Everyone passing that way will laugh in derision or shake a defiant fist. (Zephaniah 2:12-15 NLT)

"Stand in silence in the presence of the Sovereign LORD, for the awesome day of the LORD's judgment has come. The LORD has prepared his people for a great slaughter and has chosen their executioners. "On that day of judgment," says the LORD, "I will punish the leaders and princes of Judah and all those following pagan customs. Yes, I will punish those who participate in pagan worship ceremonies, and those who steal and kill to fill their masters' homes with loot. "On that day," says the LORD, "a cry of alarm will come from the Fish Gate and echo throughout the newer Mishneh section of the city. And a great crashing sound will come from the surrounding hills. Wail in sorrow, all you who live in the market area, for all who buy and sell there will die. "I will search with lanterns in Jerusalem's darkest corners to find and punish those who sit contented in their sins, indifferent to the LORD, thinking he will do nothing at all to them. They are the very ones whose property will be plundered by the enemy, whose homes will be ransacked. They will never have a chance to live in the new homes they have built. They will never drink wine from the vineyards they have planted. "That terrible day of the LORD is near. Swiftly it comes – a day when strong men will cry bitterly. It is a day when the LORD's anger will be poured out. It is a day of terrible distress and anguish, a day of ruin and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, of clouds, blackness, trumpet calls, and battle cries. Down go the walled cities and strongest battlements! "Because you have sinned against the LORD, I will make you as helpless as a blind man searching for a path. Your blood will be poured out into the dust, and your bodies will lie there rotting on the ground." Your silver and gold will be of no use to you on that day of the LORD's anger. For the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy. He will make a terrifying end of all the people on earth." (Zephaniah 1:7:18 NLT)

Re: Blinded...By faith in God..
Okay, that's great and all, but these aliens STILL have to worship a God. And these aliens worship the God of the Bible, the Koran, etc., THE UNIVERSAL GOD.

The bible is the Truth but the Truth is PERSONAL. Interpret the bible how you like--it is meant for that. It is meant for subjective criticism. It is meant to be a guideline my friend.

I believe in aliens, but I also believe that these aliens believe and understand the same God that we worship, but they have a higher understanding of Him.

The bible is a collection of stories, written by many, many people. To whomever wrote each scripture, the truth was true to them, so they wrote about things through the lens of their eyes.

You have to dig deeper, use the bible, ancient aliens, the internet, etc., as a GUIDELINE. The truth is inside yourself.
 Quoting: EazyD

LOL, The bible is an extremely effective tool of control and imprisonment.

Just listen to yourself, "everyone even aliens HAVE to worship a God?"

Who the hell has to worship anything? More importantly, why would the ALL CREATING GOD demand any worship from his creation and be so narcissistic.

No offense but after reading your first sentence that its clear you feel in your heart, you have to seek an outside source for enlightenment.

Unfortunate, as you might be stuck in this perpetual loop of holographic duality for eternity.

Have a nice day!
 Quoting: 2342

I'm sorry, but I did not find God or come to realize He existed because of the Bible. If anything, the bible pushed me away from God and I found Him myself, through my personal experiences.

I'm not saying aliens exist, like YOU ARE, but IF they do, then they were obviously created by something too. Is it so hard to wrap your head around that? That if we came from something, then THEY CAME FROM SOMETHING TOO.

Get off your arrogant high horse and stop looking at "ancient aliens" for the truth. It is only in yourself. Believe what you want to believe, and I believe what I want to believe.

The ALL CREATING GOD does NOT demand worship, He demands Love. Once you start loving ALL THINGS unconditionally, it becomes obvious that you are not in control, but God is. It is a personal experience.

I used to believe that I didn't have to worship anything.
I thought why would God want me to worship Him, isn't that a little narcissistic? The truth is, once you start becoming like Him, you find that God is in your heart, and you have unyeilding love for Him, so we worship Him out of LOVE and RESPECT. NOT because of some silly man-made rules.
 Quoting: EazyD

Your words do not correlate with the Abrahamic Religions or the Bible.

i question everything and do NOT bind myself to anything, including the Abrahamic God.
 Quoting: 2342

Did I say I was religious? Do we have to follow the Abrahamic version of God to believe and love God? Do we have to live in fear in order to love?

Please understand this one thing: God IS Love. If you love someone more than yourself, you are behaving like God, you are showing who He is and PROVING that you have God in your heart.

The Abrahamic God was more "malicious" because those people did not have the knowledge that we have today. He had to be harsh to show His love.

And besides, who are you to question God?

Love and blessings to you..

Re: Blinded...By faith in God..
With pain of having two shoots in my neck today, I approach this thread because of the confusion of OP!

Your first posting had the words "love" in it or otherwise I would not take the time to address you.

You make a claim that the bible is a spin off of much other data.
Let me ask you this question then OP!

These words right here in the manuscripts "tohu va bohu", what does those words mean?
The question comes from the wording of Gen. 1:2 and the word "void".
Now for the greater question....
Does any of your Annanaki text info tell you anything about what "tohu va bohu" means and what really happened?
I don't think it does, does it?

Here let me enlighten all of you.

We are ancient in our spiritual body. Our spiritual body is within these "carbon built" flesh bodies.
The 666 does account for DNA, yet it is only the carbon flesh body does 666 apply, and the "spirit" does not get applied to that 666 carbon built body called human. The spirit is and can be separated from the flesh.
All of you that have a King James bible turn to Ecclesiastes chapter 12:7, the flesh turns back to dust, but the "Spirit" goes back to God who gave it or created it.

The 666, by the way is multi-leveled and has greater depth than just the "mark of the beast". 6 the number of man, is just the tip of the 666.

Again, we are ancient, old, very old, and the earth has been totally destroyed by the real God, who is does not have the name "Yahweh", and you can find the truth of Gods real name in the book of Esther written five times in all cap letters.

I am posting all of this to help people understand what is really going on and how it all began.

Someone mentions the word "tares". Ha! Half of the Christians I know don't even understand what the real "tares" are, they think that a tare is someone who is a sinner. We are all sinners, so in that logic, we are all tares, in the thinking of most.
Tares rule this world today, and the ignorant shall remain ignorant until the hour of temptation when God uses some humans to reveal the whole truth.
The real "tares" are the "real seed of Satan", the Kenites.
I bet OP, you no nothing about the Kenites, yet you want to chat about some Acnient mythologies, some Sumarian text that has many truths in it, yet still lacks the whole truth.

OP makes this statement...."The Sumarians called them Anunnaki, which in Sumerian means “Those Who from Heaven to Earth Came”. The Sumarian are the oldest known civilization on earth. "
NO the Sumarian are not the old known civilization, sorry.

We, the humans have lived here on earth with God and the angels and we had towns and ect. just like we do today.
God took it all out, every bit of it in ONE DAY.

Yes, Job 38:7, we are those "stars" that rejoiced in the beginning. We had a great time until the attempt of the thrown being taken from God was made.

Yes, the sons of God found in Gen. are the same Sumarian Anunnaki monsters who came down and created monsters, just like the bible says too!
And for the one that said God is just a Spirit. I laugh at you lack of knowledge. Read Eze. chapter 1: from verse 26 to verse 28. REad it, tell me God is just some Spirit flaming fire because it says God is a consuming fire in the book of Hebrews.
No, God does have a body, not of flesh, but He does have a body, never the less.

Any rate, I could go on and on and it is written all in the bible. Plus there is hidden information in the bible. And if you can't see it, then you will understand that some are not meant to see that information. "Hidden manna" is what it is called in Rev. 2:17. And Christ is that manna sent from Heaven by God.
Blessings to all, and have a great day.
Thanks for letting me post my two cents worth. lol
 Quoting: Little Star

Tohu wa bohu וּs a Biblical Hebrew phrase found in the Book of Genesis 1:2. It is usually translated "formless and empty," or some variation of the same, and describes the condition of the earth before God said, "Let there be light." Precise translation of the phrase is difficult, as only the first word, "tohu," appears to have any independent meaning. "Tohu," is used 20 times in the Hebrew bible, and is used to mean "vain" or "waste."[1] "Bohu" appears only three times in the Hebrew bible, always together with "tohu," and always quoting the Genesis verse.[2] It therefore may have no meaning at all, being a nonsense word whose only purpose is aesthetic, to rhyme with "tohu." Rabbi Judah taught that Akiva said Tohu is a green line encompassing the world from which darkness emanates. Genesis 1:2, original Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex)[4]
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Genesis 1:2, English translation (New International Version)[5]

In modern French, "tohu-bohu" is used as an idiom for "confusion" or "commotion". Also in colloquial German, "Tohuwabohu" means "great confusion"; "tohuvabohu" has the same meaning in Estonian and Hungarian. In his book "Path of the Kabbalah", Dr. David Sheinkin explains that, in Hebrew, Tohu relates to the concept of "confusion" and Bohu can be subdivided as "Bo" meaning "in it" and "Hu" meaning "he". Therefore, he argues, it is something that seems to signify "he is in it", a connotation almost opposite to the traditional translation.[6]

Sounds like someone dosen't really know what the true translation was for this word.....but whatever some no_racial_epithets_4_U said it means is good enough for you...huh.

Typical God-hating poster.

I am in no place to judge, but do you really think turning to bigotry and hate when you are questioned is the right answer?

I pray that you find a little more love and rationale in your debates.

With that, I will stop debating with you because I am in place to question your beliefs, only God can do that.

Your words do not correlate with the Abrahamic Religions or the Bible.

Please understand this one thing: God IS Love. If you love someone more than yourself, you are behaving like God, you are showing who He is and PROVING that you have God in your heart.

The Abrahamic God was more "malicious" because those people did not have the knowledge that we have today. He had to be harsh to show His love.

1. Calling God narcissistic is a form of hate, in my opinion.
2. I don't remember telling you you can't question whatever you want. I support you questioning things!! Because I used to believe a lot of the same things that you do, the more you question, the more questions we seek, but also the more answers become apparent.
3.The third thing I bolded insinuates, to me at least, that you don't believe in Divine Providence.

I'm done with this really...You are acting SO defensive and I'm just trying to bring a different perspective in. I used to believe the whole aliens are our God thing, but now I don't so I am just bringing my 2 cents in.

In this game the lesson's in your eyes to see, though things change, the future's still inside of me. We must remember that tomorrow comes after the dark, so you will always be in my heart, with unconditional Love.

 Quoting: 2342

Yep, you spoke truth that men did write the bible. The bible itself tells us that yes men did write the bible guided by the hand of God. (Or in better terms, guided by the Holy Spirit. In simplest terms, God told them what to say.. lol)

Like I said, everyone gets to make up their own mind. I sail my ship, and you can sail yours. (figure of speech there) lol

What the problem is today is that there are too many people who want to interpret the bible they way their mind says it should be.
And I am sure you can agree on that.
But my bible tells me how to interpret it without my mind doing the interpretation of it.
Where does the bible tell us how to interpret it?
2 Corinthians 13:1 Out of two or more witnesses shall the word be confirmed.
In other words, each verse has a sister verse. And it is true, each verse does have a sister verse.
So what, it is still done by man, you say!
Okay, not big deal to me. I don't judge because I know who is the judge, and it is not me. lol

And no your not going to fry like a piece of bacon if you don't come to the Lord. You will be taught in the Millennium rule of Christ. Eze. chapter 44, read it. That is where I pulled that one from. lol
But it still is from mans minds you say!

Fine by me, live your life in peace and love all those that you can. Because the valley of death is all around you, by the bitterness, evil, death killings and etc. (Psalms 23:all of it.)
You have been my family since the beginning. Did you know that ? We were created on the at the same moment at the same time by God. All of us were. We are ancient spiritual beings. How about you waking up my brother or sister? lol

blessings to you...

Re: Blinded...By faith in God..
Sumerian tablet translation calls for re-examination of Genesis text

An alternative translation of the biblical Genesis text has revealed a realistic and down to earth story of flesh and blood farmers, recorded as the Anannage or the Elohim in the planted highlands, as opposed to God in heaven.

The familiar biblical story of the Garden of Eden compiled in the 1st millennium BC has had many counterparts little known outside specialist circles. One however was written in clear and secular terms and inscribed on clay tablets in Sumeria during the 3rd Millennium BC and placed in the Nippur library.

Translation of the 4,500 year old, seven Sumerian Kharsag Epics from the cuneiform clay cylinders and tablets excavated from the remains of the Nippur Library in 1896 by an expedition from the University of Pennsylvania, have identified the wise sages who passed down their knowledge to the Sumerian civilization, which was in full power 2000 years before the Bible was compiled.

The early Fathers of the Church failed to realise that they were a consistent account of a Golden Age that had already occured in the distant past.

I am going to have to re-read the thread to find out what you are talking about.... Sorry.
You are quoting scripture about the "END" just after the hour of temptation.
All humans will be translated into their spiritual body. In a twinkle of an eye!
I did not see any of your translations so I am saying I am sorry, I don't see them.

Translation comes from the Word itself. It teaches you how to properly translate the bible without MAN muddying the waters of it.
Yep, they will be throwing their silver and gold into the streets.

Men wrote the damn bible. WAKE UP!

Feels like i'm hitting my head against a brick wall.

1-Where did i say i hate God?
2-Why can't i question whatever i want?
3-Where did i say i don't believe in Divine Providence?
 Quoting: 2342

LOL, The bible is an extremely effective tool of control and imprisonment.

Just listen to yourself, "everyone even aliens HAVE to worship a God?"

Who the hell has to worship anything? More importantly, why would the ALL CREATING GOD demand any worship from his creation and be so narcissistic.

No offense but after reading your first sentence that its clear you feel in your heart, you have to seek an outside source for enlightenment.

Unfortunate, as you might be stuck in this perpetual loop of holographic duality for eternity.

~~~
1. Calling God narcissistic is a form of hate, in my opinion.
2. I don't remember telling you you can't question whatever you want. I support you questioning things!! Because I used to believe a lot of the same things that you do, the more you question, the more questions we seek, but also the more answers become apparent.
3.The third thing I bolded insinuates, to me at least, that you don't believe in Divine Providence.
I'm done with this really...You are acting SO defensive and I'm just trying to bring a different perspective in. I used to believe the whole aliens are our God thing, but now I don't so I am just bringing my 2 cents in.
Peace
Nope, not channeling from me.
Everything I have said is found in the bible.
Or let me refraise that...
Everything I have said is found in the manuscripts.
Like "tohu va bohu" which means = totally destroyed.
I said this in one of my questions to OP. Gen. 1:2 the word void in the King James bible is incorrect. It should read "totally destroyed". And then you can read of it in many other places in the manuscripts and from the old testie, to the new testie of the King James bible.
Greatest kept secret is that "heaven" used to be on this earth.
It is where the battle began with Satan.
Look around you, his evil sons rule the world and cause all wars. Have been through out the years of mankind. The creeps!
