Did I say I was religious? Do we have to follow the Abrahamic version of God to believe and love God? Do we have to live in fear in order to love?

Please understand this one thing: God IS Love. If you love someone more than yourself, you are behaving like God, you are showing who He is and PROVING that you have God in your heart.

The Abrahamic God was more "malicious" because those people did not have the knowledge that we have today. He had to be harsh to show His love.
