Full moon = more light refracting and scattering in the atmosphere. This is why the sky appears blue during the day. You are seeing more blue than usual because the sky is brighter than usual due to the full moon.

Please go outside more often or take the time to actually study and observe the heavens. It's worth every second.

It's cleared up here. I can see Algieba, Regulus, Mars, etc, but no comet. Algieba & Regulus are almost horizontal with Algieba to the left. Elenin should be just above and right of Algieba at 080°T 19°.

More clouds. I did get a really good view of the location for a while. I saw Eta Leonis with the binoculars nice and clear, Elenin should have been just a little lower and to the left of Eta Leonis. Nothing there through Binoculars.

The sky looked perfectly normal to me, for a Full Moon.
