ATTENTION SKYTARDS! It's 1:30 am in FL and the sky is blue

it looks like the color of blue that you'd see in the east about an hour before the sun is about to rise, but this blue I'm seeing now covers the entire sky

Damn, I just noticed that myself. Especially looking west over the Gulf. It is really light out.

Good you noticed this OP I been noticing this for months now on certain nights....its sorta like twilight after dark or before morning. Yeah definately not 1 in the morning dark.

I guess it happened, this is very odd and that photo does show dark blue sky.

No worries, its just those Noctilucent Clouds that NASA told us about a few years ago.

that's the direction I face when I'm outside having a cig and it was the first thing I noticed. It's kinda cloudy here, but through all of the breaks in the clouds, it's blue in every direction

I'll take the blue over those wierd Amber yellow looking through a film negative type skies though. Thems skies are really strange.

another thing I can't figure out is why the moon set early a few days ago, but it's still out there right now, rising?

North Florida here,I noticed what you meant earlier tonight and a few days ago during an intense rain/thunderstorm a flash of lightening lit the sky neon blue for a full five seconds, went dark, and then lit up again for about two seconds. I was coming home from work and almost pulled over to check it out. A few co-workers saw it as well and we both thought the abduction was near ha.

To be quite honest this happens in Montana all the time.

I just noticed the same thing tonight while out taking photos - sky was just too bright for night time, and bluish, yes.

All I see is clouds, with the Moon & Jupiter popping through ever so often.

If anyone has a clear sky, the Dust Streak Elenin should be bearing 073° T around altitude 6° and climbing.

same here in nc early very cloudy full moon wasnt the moon very blue sky
