While we don't have the cancers you speak of, we do seem to have more than our share of ADHD, LD, and autism in our school district (not too far north of you). But then again, it is a rural area and not high IQ people to begin with - which is why they live in the middle of nowhere where it's cheaper. Frankly, most of our children with such disabilities have parents who you can track directly to drug/alcohol abuse.
