fell asleep for no more than 45 minutes after having 2 hours sleep the last 48 hours.

Woke up instantly when it started.
This shit is fucking insane, this is the loudest, strongest, ground shaking thunder I've ever heard.

It's doesn't even look like thunder, it's explainable.

Not to mention I'm having a hard to remembering my universal password <_< maybe it's from fatigue

It would make sense that we all are told from people how wrong we were about Elenin, when it was probably the distraction to begin with. All of the people having friends and family and online people laughing and saying how wrong they were (my Dad was nice about it though :) ) then not long after the real event happens.

There is obviously something different happening. We are holding on to this matrix so desperately to deny that.

Yeah, have a look at the national radar, the cloud cover spans most of the east coast up past Brisbane

Great to be positive but unless you beam somewhere else or can shoot Hadoukens to protect yourself, there are still going to be a lot of nasty, desperate people.

thunder and lightning are nothing out of the normal except that it is very rare that they go through the central business district

everyone is commenting on how dark it was around 3.30 - 3.35 and the one bang in particular at 3.33 (that set off fire alarms) had a long whistle to it and was like a double sonic boom. it was not 'normal'!

I heard that boom, I am in east suburbs, whereabouts were you when you heard it?

middle of the cbd, mad that you heard it from there. it seemed to be travelling sideways and that whistle was very odd

I am in Mitcham, what I didn't hear was the whistle prior, though I do have some hearing issues in the higher frequency ranges.


I did find the boom unusual though, my hearing problems are directional also, but at a push I would say it came from a southernly direction.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Deniliquin, Griffith, Hay, Tibooburra, Bourke, White Cliffs, Wanaaring, Broken Hill, Ivanhoe, Menindee, Balranald and Brewarrina.


The State Emergency Service advises that people should:

Haven't had a decent storm here for a while. Was dark by 5.30pm ish tonight....... normal I think for this time of year.

Gold Coast here. Weather report is fine, but I was working out side and could barely see by 5.30 (normally at this time of year I should have got another 40 minutes or so). Strangely dense cloud to be honest.

Heard the boom in Drouin, nearly jumped out of my skin. It certainly got dark very early, very heavy cloud cover.
