I watched Lady Gag gag twice, and I didn't see any cross or Star of David that you are speaking of. That was pretty gross. LOL

As for Christ, the word is Greek, and is not in the Tanack. The Hebrews did not call their kings 'christ', anointed yes, christ, no.

It may mean anointed but the emphasis on the word in the NT is to throw the reader off, in leading them to think that being a christ made JC something unusual or spiritual. Since JC was never anointed as the kings of Israel were, that would also lead people to think he was something unusual.

As, I know you are aware of, the Hebrew is not easy to translate into English and get the correct meaning. One such word is malak which translates as messenger and Greek renders it as angel. Xianity then turns the meaning of angel in to some spiritual being. Which, even though the being may not be of this world, it doesn't mean that it is see through.
