when a mother faces a real life and death situation due to complications of pregnancy it is a medical matter and a tragedy for a loving family. in those cases ethical medical care can do their best to preserve the life of both child and mother but that is not always possible. that is not what has brought the massive judgment on us that we face. it is the indescriminate slaughter of children before birth when their is no medical justification to terminate the life of the child. you did your best in a difficult circumstance and did not want to lose your child. i also suffered the loss of a son in such a case and it was very hard to deal with at the time and we stuggled with the options that were available. i am sorry for your loss and that you and your wife had to go through that.
