Thats a big conclusion to draw from a few paragraphs on a hot button issue. I'm actually quite normal, spiritually enlightened, and rational. But the whole of us will never agree on this topic. I get loads of reactions when I tell people I am pro abortion but when I ask the following question in other anti abortion threads, no-one and I mean NO-ONE ever answers.

My wife was pregnant, at 6 months, she wasnt right, went to the hospital and they told her that if she did not abort, her and baby may die. This would have left our other 2 children motherless.

So my question is - Is she still a murderer for aborting?

First, I note that it is someone from the U.K. who concurs with me and an "American" that thinks murder is okay. Secondly, God has never commanded anyone to kill an abortion doctor anymore than He has commanded anyone to have an abortion. It's called "free will." Finally, if you're so "spiritually enlightened," please enlighten us Christians, as we are all clearly dumb hillbillies in need of ethereal cultivation.

That is comparing apples and oranges. While your situation was clearly a "life of the mother" issue, that term is so loosely construed these days that it can even mean that a pregnant woman could abort simply because the baby might cause her some additional stress at some point in the future.

Yep, stories like this are pretty hard to condemn from the pro-life standpoint. First of all, I'm sorry to hear about that happening, it is awful. But, you 100 percent made the right choice. While the pro-life crowd will probably still say it's murder, you and I both really know that it was the merciful thing to do.

You can start by emptying your brain of all the religious programming forced into it while you were a child. Start meditating, or if thats too time consuming, take the easy path and experiment with your consciousness through artificial means. Yes, it is murder. As you admitted, "they" (whoever "they" are) allegedly said that your wife "may" have died had she not aborted, but "they" clearly did not definitively know that. I will let God identify the murderers. Now, question for you...what if you saw a drunk coming out of a bar stumbling toward his car tonight, and you killed him because he "may" kill your wife and children? Does that make you a murderer?
