This is the fate of man. He must strive for that which he cannot attain. He must believe in that which he cannot prove. He must seek that which he cannot find. He must travel a road without knowing his destination. Only thus can the purpose of life be fulfilled.

For I tell you, God will not do things you are too apathetic to do for yourselves.

I dont think it's correct to call anything a lens flare. Lens flares follow a behavior, you can see the lens flares clearly and the static object right next to the sun is not following their behavior.

Lens flares move with the lens... That is not a lens flare.

You can see lens flares in the video, compare them and you will see that is not the same.

Neither Venus nor Elenin are that near the Sun.

However, I'm still not sure if that's NOT a lens flare. Some lens flares are very close to the light point, so the move less or apparently nothing. All those who upload supposed Nibiru/Elenin/Planet X/Whateva videos should rotate (clockwise or counterclockwise, not forwards, etc.) the camera, too, not just move it or tilt it a bit. Rotation is what truly tells if it's a lens flare or not, and I'm not seeing this guy rotating the camera.

Could be, but I think it's highly unlikely that's a lens flare, more likely some planet.

Maybe. If it's a planet, I don't think(I'm far from being an expert) it's Venus. If you look at the orbit diagram, Venus is far to the left, from our perspective, looking at the sun.

By the way, shouldn't you be sleeping?

and the exact position of Elenin is kind of questionable, as it is subject to speeding up as it rounds the sun... so, yah, maybe it's the Elenin cluster, or part of it.

My suggestion would be that we all try to take a video of the sun and see if we get the same object.

People have been getting this object for a long time already, I think it's clear there's something there, but if it was Venus or Mercury or some other planet it wouldn't mean anything.

Sorry..this is the first I've seen. It's definitely not lense flair. I also do not believe that's a planet....since when do we see planets clearly during the day next to the sun? I didn't think that was possible.
