Painting implied as "Terrorist Threat"- Chase bank burns

Now painting are Terrorist Threats apparently. LOL

As an artist myself I find this absolutely disgusting.
An artist (Alex Schaefer) recently painted a picture of a Chase bank on fire. -- "The police were apparently concerned that there was a terrorist threat implied in the painting. According to the Los Angeles Times, police told told Schaefer that:"

“They had to find out my intention. They asked if I was a terrorist and was I going to follow through and do what I was painting.”

I have been an artist since I was a child and most of my art has always been dark and kinda twisted. However, this is my way of illustrating how I feel without actually having to do any real acts of violence or disturbance.
Fact is I love this painting and see that it not a true threat but more of a forewarning of our future. People need to look more than skin deep to see the meaning of most art, why is this any differant! Your Thoughts?
