bump Bump for anyone going through the Kundalini rising. I would love to hear from you. Perhaps get advice on how to balance a work/home life with the new found changes. I sleep so little now. Perhaps I should just give in and spend that time painting or something.

After 5 yrs of spiritual work, about 2 wks ago i had a full blown experience......and any words less than blissful, astounding and incredible are not doing such an experience justice!
My only thoughts after coming down from such incredible heights is.....now how does one just go back to everyday life...i mean its equivalent to me as someone who was sentenced to life in prison (what a reflection, huh?) to get up, say after 40 yrs and the warden comes and opens the cell door and says.....'You're FREE'!
Kinda hard to just pick up where you left off in the physical world.
So i am reading to find just how i balance the new energy because i feel i am walking a tight rope at this point!

I LOVE that analogy. It truly does feel that way. It is like spreading your wings when you never knew you had any. I am trying to keep working and maintaining myself in the normal world, but it is a struggle. I would really just like to walk the earth barefoot and meet every other soul I possibly could.
 Quoting: Scrodiddles

Funny OP cuz i had heard of kundalini but had no idea what it was and until i had the experience as stated above.....i had no idea what that meant.
My last several yrs were me spinning my wheels reading books....books that got me no where altho i will say they allowed me to OPEN my mind to knew info and some i stored away and later on as i was making the slow progress, it would come back to me....what i had read about.....such as this kundalini.
But what i am getting at is this:
when i was a child, i was fortunate to grow up on a farm in western maryland in the applachian mtns.
We were a family just barely getting by and so as children, we had to use our imaginations to play and have fun on the farm.
I spend alot of time with the animals, always watching and just 'mingling' with them....i felt an attunement with them that i never felt with people...matter of fact i was made fun of for not wanting to be participate in what is considered 'normal' human behaviour.
To make a long story short.....the way i have made progress in my spiritual advancement is to regress myself to where i left off as a child and was made to conform to the ways of the world.
As a child i had special places i could go that I could feel surges of energy.....and i was able to take me away in my mind to 'mystical' ...feelings....places.... (if this makes sense,i dont know how else to describe it)experiences and so in my meditations here in the last couple months, i just started going back in my mind to those special places i experienced as a child because i was actually able to 'pick up where i left off'.
I have felt my way thru all this and it has been a very lonely experience so to be able to find and communicate with others who are on the same journey is awesome.....it is nice to be able to read others experiences and to be able to sound off of each other.
Thanks for such a great thread......hugs to ya!

One last thing.....not only in my mind do/did i go back to my childhood, but literally.
I live today on a little farm here in south florida and have lots of animals and garden and do all i did as a child.
I do not work in the outside world and i pretty much keep away from the world just as i did when i was a child.
I really do feel like i just picked up where i left off as a child who wanted to just live and experience life as it was meant to be.
IT was so traumatic to me when i started school as a child....it truly killed me inside.....i so longed to be 'out there just living my life' and i tell you this:
i never participated in school, i hated it and i was kicking an screaming the whole way thru and i let it be known how much i disliked it the whole way thru. It felt so wrong to me.....it did what it was meant to do though, which is to make you a participant in this game of lies/life.
So after going thru my very long dark nite of the soul.....i started my journey back to ME......
Feels great to be back home brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
OP, thank you for sharing your experiences, me personally, ive been meditating for about a year now, ive learned to control the subtle energies in my body as well, but i do feel that i am lacking as far as kundalini goes. my crown is very open, so is my throat, but not really my 3rd eye persay, besides seeing my aura on occasion. i believe this is because of a lack of kundalini energy, which i pretty much figured out by looking at the Egyptian statues with the serpent coming out of the forehead. is there any particular school of mediation you work with? such as taoism, qigong etc? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1495121

I have no school of meditation. This experience has brought me to realize that some things we are entitled to and no school, book, or youtube video is required to access them.

I do observance meditation and I feel my way out on my own. I tried books and things like that a few years ago, but I always ended up coming to the same conclusion. They weren't helping.

So for the last year I decided to spend as much time as I can in a simple meditation and ignore everyones "advice". It worked wonders and I quickly realized that most people speak so matter-of-factly about things they haven't experienced. They feel like if they tell you what they read and make you believe it is true then it will work more for them. But the truth is that there is a very small handful of people that are moving forward in spirituality and all of them are doing it on a path they cultivated themselves. I have yet to meet a Border's Books Guru. If you would like to know the meditation that works for me then I would be thrilled to tell you. But I won't pretend like it will be the answer for you. Only you can answer your questions.
 Quoting: Scrodiddles

Ah, thank you for the reply good sir! i do agree with you, i take bits and pieces of different systems and put it together according to what my intuition tells me, guess its worked out well so far. i would definitely like to hear more about your technique if you could my friend. thank you.

Thats awesome HilosPP. I am really excited to hear what you are going through. The angelic choir really invokes some powerful imagery in my mind.
 Quoting: Scrodiddles

Thanks,

Been thinking about yours as well, I was thinking you must be getting close to meeting your Twin Flame, or do you know her already? Have you tried pushing the energy you have been receiving up your chakra points, you know so you can avoid driving around having uncontrollable orgasms? Not to be rude, and I know its a very personal experience you are sharing. No offense meant.
 Quoting: HilosPP

You made me laugh, not offended me. I am working on that, actually. It would be ideal to get control of this and I think I am. I notice that the energy goes where I focus. So if I feel it moving into the lower chakra I am trying my best to ignore it and focus on the naval, therefore moving it up.

As for the Twin Flame. I have a woman that I am quite in love with already, but from what I have heard about Twin Flames, I am not sure if she is it. Although it wouldn't surprise me if she was. We are just missing some of the major psychic connections I have heard of. But I don't know enough about it all to make a call on that.
 Quoting: Scrodiddles

Haha, that is good. I hope I don't overstep my bounds for I know you are for more learn-Ed than me in many ways, but remember to keep your eye on the prize when trying to move it up, remember your crown chakra is what you are aiming for, that's how I worked it up. Had to make it in progressions. Like 1 2, back to 1 1 2 3, back to 1 1 2 3 4. I also concentrated on speaking without speaking, to make it up to my throat chakra, if that makes sense. Perhaps you need to reach your crown chakra with this energy you are experiencing before you can be ignited with the woman you already know, if she is your twin flame.
 Quoting: HilosPP

You hold a very solid point. I can feel the energy "wanting" to go upward so I will take you advice and try to work it in steps towards my crown chakra. It just seems like the natural place to take it.
I am in search of Truth, but still emptying my cup.

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
as per your question brother- about depression sometimes appearing down the road after a kundalinic experience

the brain chemistry changes

and enlightenment becomes a lonely road

also- and others will tell you this too [maybe!]......the wondrous experiences, once they lighten up and go away- leaves one missing those feelings, surges, tingles, etc

sometimes, it might appear as if 'all that, and now, nothing?'

what happens- is after all the power symptoms- we think the next stage will be even bigger

but then, it gets quiet, very subtle changes now, almost un-noticed

hang in there during those times

email me, we will talk [you can find my email in my yahoo group on my thread]

Thread: I Will Teach You White Skeleton
I Will Teach You White Skeleton
In helping someone quickly attain the spiritual state of samadhi, and often leads to various superpowers and psychic abilities in addition to a healthier body. It is a very quick way to transform the physical body and its chi channels so as to help you achieve a supernormal state of spiritual realization.

While there are many courses out there teaching ESP, chakra balancing, astral travel and so forth, none of them can compare to the benefits of the white skeleton visualization practice. Yet hardly anyone practices it today primarily because they don’t know it exists, or because they prefer a number of “useless” meditation techniques due to the fact that they don’t understand the real gist of cultivation theory.

Previous to Buddhism’s entry into China, the two techniques of anapana and skeleton visualization practice were unknown in the country, and afterwards they were accepted as genuine practice vehicles and greatly influenced Taoism. Taoists had developed many cultivation practices of their own, but of course borrowed whatever worked regardless
of its origins. Many of the chi cleansing routines of Taoism are based on the principles of the skeleton method.

Awesome. Thank you so much for you help. I am going to read into this stuff.

Last night I had the energy move from my lower abdomen into my navel and it burned like a fire. But a fantastic/orgasmic fire. It seems to be more and more blissful as it moves up. I have you and HilosPP to thank for the suggestion of moving it upward.

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
I am hesitant to share this information because it is very personal and intimate to me, but I feel that if I don't reach out then I will be doing an injustice to both myself and others when it comes to learning more.

I have been Meditating very earnestly and frequently for the last year (up to 3.5 hours a day) and it has created some very interesting and exciting changes in my life. The least of which being an invaluable introspective analyzation of my self and the most of which being an awakening of my Kundalini energy.

The energy started stirring slowly a while back and was first noticeable during meditation as nothing more than a slight pressure/movement at the base of my spine, just above my tailbone. Over a few weeks it turned into a very prominent pulling/bubbling feeling.

Then, one night while laying in bed after meditation, I felt a very strong, warm, tingling sensation in my lower abdomen. It was just above my thighs, but no higher than my naval. This tingling then moved to my genitals and became a full blown orgasm that lasted for several hours and came in waves. It was not sexual and I did not have the normal "release" as some would call it. But it felt more intense and spiritually satisfying than normal sex. I eventually distracted my body enough to fall asleep and awoke at my normal time to a bed completely drenched in sweat. Like a bucket of water had been thrown on me. The sensations of sensitivity stayed with me all the next day and only returned to a full orgasm during my mid-day meditation.

This continued as a normal process for a few days until I gave in completely to it while laying in bed again. I usually let the process run, as anyone would , for a few hours and then forced myself to sleep. But, on this particular night, I just did nothing. The orgasms lasted for hours and then a new sensation started. It was a warm wriggling feeling that moved from my testicles, through my scrotum, and into the base of my spine. (Sorry for the blunt anatomy speech).

The energy eventually nestled into my lower spine and remained in place, spinning. But the moment I put my attention to it, the energy exploded like a super nova throughout my entire body and moved me into a full body orgasm that lasted for a time period I can't place. It came in waves for what felt like an eternity.

This has been the common occurrence for me during meditation and sleep now. I sleep far less and seem to have more energy.

I am still in the "process" of Kundalini, as some would call it, but it has been far more enjoyable than some stories I have heard. It has also been like nothing I expected. The only discomfort I get is the occasional pressure/burning sensation that I suspect is the Kundalini moving through blockages.

Obviously this was very personal, but I would really like to share it in hopes that someone will share their experiences and/or advice.

Thanks in advance.

Tyler

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
I was on a thread that was bashing Kundalini and am so glad to have found this thread.

thanks for your experiences.

I like to encourage those who think certain activities are of the darkness or occult in nature, to go inside their hearts and ask the Father inside for the truth.

So I myself went inside and asked Jesus if Kundalini rising was of the dark - he said no

i asked is it of the light? - he said yes

so I asked,
if I am prepared, will it help raise my vibration? - he said yes
will it make me more spiritually aware? - he said yes
will it then bring me closer to you? - he said yes

now I encourage you, before any adventure, go inside and just ask...

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
I'm a little late to this party but I figured what the heck.

My Kundalini Awakening was spontaneous. I was under extreme emotional distress at the time, and watched a youtube vid over an over for about 3 hours an 20 minutes(watched it over an over) just feeling the words. I suspect this coupled with other things that were going on in my life activated it.

I remember shooting out the top of my head is the only way to describe it, almost immediately I started seeing stuff not from this dimension. Orbs, ectoplasm, felt them, heard them, and everything in between. At times it felt like I was stuck in a freezer. My energy level was so high when I first awoke the spirit actually said hi to me, in a croak is the best way I can describe it.

About a week later between 12-5AM I get this depressing feeling, almost like something has attached itself to me, most of the time I can fight through it but I find it increasingly hard to deal with, I suspect this is because I never have grounded myself.

The video I am referring to is : [link to www.youtube.com] I must mention that I cried the whole 3h an 20m while watching this vid, (watched it over an over) hence the emotional distress.

I have asked a friend what might be happening to me, he said I have turned into a sort of guide for the ones that can't seem to move on.

My personality type is INFJ coupled with High Sensitivity, which is another thing I think helped with awakening.

Anyways, if I think of anything else I shall update. :)

Stay beautiful everyone and happy trails.hf

Edit: Forgot to add, ever since awakening I have no fear and am completely at peace, with the exception of the 12 to 5AM thing.

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
I also experienced a so called "heart orgasm" I'm male.

I had been purifying myself with raw food and fighting against sin. I had also been abstaining from sex and masterbation.

I had been meditating on existance. I forgave the so called "dark forces" for what they had done to the planet.
That night it hit me. It was something otherworldly.

I thought of dark and light and how darkness offered opportunity for light to learn. I thought about the masculine and feminine and this girl I loved very deeply and how she changed my complete perspective on the world.

That night it hit me like a ton of bricks. I came to my room and layed down. I saw a Red, Blue and, White light. I'm guessing the red/blue represented shiva/shakti/kali or something. I proceeded to have an orgasm that was guided by the lights and my breath work. The ograsm was 1000 times more powerful than I have ever experienced and the numbness lasted 30 minutes at least.

This path hasn't been easy though. The energy requires you to purify your thoughts and actions and demands retribution and sorrow for past wrongs. It was crazy the next day after this happened I saw the 1000 petal lotus on the wall.

People that say it's demonic? Well, I thought that for awhile but I can't let fear rule me. I wasn't a bad person before this happened and I never asked for it or summoned some evil spirit. I'm really like the gentlest person you've ever meant.

I think there is some compatability with this experience and christianity. If you read particularly the Gnostic gospels of Thomas and Phillip there is mention of the bridal chamber. The holy of holies.

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
You're welcome. Let's see this happened to me 3 years ago roughly right around Christmas. So, I've speant roughly 3 years reading every sacred text I could get my hands on to look for answer. I mean how do you explain the unexplainable. Here's a good article:

[link to gnosticteachings.org]

From article:

"The second part of matrimony is monium, from Latin, which means "action, state, or condition." When we put those two things together, we can understand that matrimony means "the action, the state, the condition, of the Divine Mother," or more directly: the state or condition from which the Divine Mother can act." This is a very profound thing. The marriage of husband and wife is the state or condition through which the Divine Mother can act. We know this is true in all the occult traditions, because it is through Tantra, the union of male/female, that the Kundalini is realized, is awakened; and the Kundalini is the Divine Mother herself. It is through the union of male and female that the forces of the Divine Mother can descend and act in the world."

"Everyone knows about the intoxicating power of the orgasm, of the way sex is practiced commonly in couples, but what people do not realize is that that same intoxicating power, when it is harnessed, and transformed, becomes the power of the Divine Mother, the Kundalini, and it becomes vastly more powerful, and potent, and intoxicating, when the Divine Mother has it in her hands. This becomes the power of the gods. In all the religious traditions we see that sacred liquid, symbolized as amrita, which is the elixir of immortality, or ambrosia, the food of the gods, or soma, the intoxicating drink that gives the gods their power. This is all symbolizing the same force.

The Tantrics in Tibet state that even though the orgasm feels powerful, there is a more powerful feeling when that energy is restrained, when it is held, when it is transformed by will, --and will in the Tree of Life, is Tiphereth, our human soul, the priest,-- that intoxicating power is a hundred times more powerful than the normal orgasm. That is the power that creates the bliss of the soul, the ecstasy of the Consciousness, the awakening of the Bodhichitta. In fact, in Tantra, Bodhichitta refers to the sexual energy. In the exoteric level, it is discussed as compassion and knowledge of pranja or emptiness. But in Tantra, Bodhichitta directly means the energy of sex, the bindu or tigle."

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
From gospel of Phillip. Look at all the references to the mystery of the bridal chamber:

"It is from water and fire that the soul and the spirit came into being. It is from water and fire and light that the son of the bridal chamber (came into being). The fire is the chrism, the light is the fire. I am not referring to that fire which has no form, but to the other fire whose form is white, which is bright and beautiful, and which gives beauty."

"Truth did not come into the world naked, but it came in types and images. The world will not receive truth in any other way. There is a rebirth and an image of rebirth. It is certainly necessary to be born again through the image. Which one? Resurrection. The image must rise again through the image. The bridal chamber and the image must enter through the image into the truth: this is the restoration. Not only must those who produce the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, do so, but have produced them for you. If one does not acquire them, the name ("Christian") will also be taken from him. But one receives the unction of the [...] of the power of the cross. This power the apostles called "the right and the left." For this person is no longer a Christian but a Christ. "

"The Lord did everything in a mystery, a baptism and a chrism and a eucharist and a redemption and a bridal chamber. [...] he said, "I came to make the things below like the things above, and the things outside like those inside. I came to unite them in the place." [...] here through types [...]and images. "

"A bridal chamber is not for the animals, nor is it for the slaves, nor for defiled women; but it is for free men and virgins. "

commentary: What is a free man. Probably someone who can see through the illusion of the world.

"If the woman had not separated from the man, she should not die with the man. His separation became the beginning of death. Because of this, Christ came to repair the separation, which was from the beginning, and again unite the two, and to give life to those who died as a result of the separation, and unite them. But the woman is united to her husband in the bridal chamber. Indeed, those who have united in the bridal chamber will no longer be separated. Thus Eve separated from Adam because it was not in the bridal chamber that she united with him. "

"The chrism is superior to baptism, for it is from the word "Chrism" that we have been called "Christians," certainly not because of the word "baptism". And it is because of the chrism that "the Christ" has his name. For the Father anointed the Son, and the Son anointed the apostles, and the apostles anointed us. He who has been anointed possesses everything. He possesses the resurrection, the light, the cross, the Holy Spirit. The Father gave him this in the bridal chamber; he merely accepted (the gift). The Father was in the Son and the Son in the Father. This is the Kingdom of Heaven. "

"No one can know when the husband and the wife have intercourse with one another, except the two of them. Indeed, marriage in the world is a mystery for those who have taken a wife. If there is a hidden quality to the marriage of defilement, how much more is the undefiled marriage a true mystery! It is not fleshly, but pure. It belongs not to desire, but to the will. It belongs not to the darkness or the night, but to the day and the light. If a marriage is open to the public, it has become prostitution, and the bride plays the harlot not only when she is impregnated by another man, but even if she slips out of her bedroom and is seen. Let her show herself only to her father and her mother, and to the friend of the bridegroom and the sons of the bridegroom. These are permitted to enter every day into the bridal chamber. But let the others yearn just to listen to her voice and to enjoy her ointment, and let them feed from the crumbs that fall from the table, like the dogs. Bridegrooms and brides belong to the bridal chamber. No one shall be able to see the bridegroom with the bride unless he become such a one. "

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
Could use some advice as to something that happened to me and whether this is a kundalini experience as this is all new to me,

I went to sleep as normal, it was a weekend so i was quite relaxed as i did not need to get up early, anyway i awoke around 4am to use the loo and when i got back in bed i just started to fall asleep on my back when i felt this almighty electric type shock/jolt to the back of my thigh muscles. It was so powerful that it arched my back and i could not move i was very scared, there was no pain strangely enough. The next thing i was travelling at great spead, feet first horizontally through a blue shimmering tunnel and then i was transported to where my parents were living ( they are both dead and i have wondered where they are as i miss them both), i thought i had died, i was obviously astral travelling as this has happened many times before but never like this!

I eventually woke and everything has been quite normal since but i have become very psycically sensitive, such as i can see my third eye energy revolving all the time although it is not causing any problems.I am hearing and recognising voices in my sleep which have started to answer any pressing questions i have.

I wanted to ask is this a kundalini experience? and if so what do i do now?

Re: **** My Kundalini experiences. Please share your experiences and/or advice. ****
hi
here i wanna share some experience of mine. this the time when i was pursuing my graduation in 2003, when on day of guru purnima in month of july, i was chanting a mantra of devi, around 1200 pm , my total concentration on my my breathing while taking in with the sound om and while breathing out was done with loudly speaking mantra in a flow (remembering a flow should not be break ) and concentration of mind strictly was on my breath (as it is going down and up).
I was on padmasana and after 15 min approx, i feel a cold water flow from my mooladhar chakra going upward up to my back of chest and at chest that flow divided in to three stream.
as well as i break my concentration on my breath and looking this happening, after 2 min that ended.
that time i come to know the concentration of breath is most important thing in awakening kundalini.
I wanna share some, after that day, i felt a lot of urge of sex, and usually masturbated myself.
and but it never happened again, but after one year almost, i began to be a frightened person and losing my confidence over me. I always feel some vibrations in my mooladhar chakra mostly whenever some sounds were coming outside. for example, if some music was playing in room and i entered that room, i felt higher vibrations in my mooladhar chakra. in such way i was feeling bad and my heart beat also got affected badly. and i did not feel mentally fit that time and one day , because of exam, i was afraid a lot, i felt
such a way that this day was my last, i would be died.
that day , i have decided to never chant any mantra of devi and any yogasna. and took a mantra "ram" for making my self out of these diseases.
i felt and having now a firm belief that if someone tries for kundalini awakening, that person should strictly follow "celibacy".
I dont know much about yoga that time, but today i know what was my fault that time. after those i have tried a lot to quit my habit of masturbating but failed yet.

So glad for this thread. I should have my wife read it, because I was trying to explain this stuff to her recently, to try to get her to understand my experiences.
(to what extent is really possible with communicated language...i.e., not much at all)

I was telling her that I was experiencing things that were far and above sexual orgasm, and not even remotely "sexual" at all, and it would last 30 minutes...an hour...almost 2 hours, etc.

i believe i have had one. i was actually smoking marijuana at the time.

and ive done it for years so i know it wasnt the cannabis. i was actually meditating for a good 15 minutes. i was visualizing an energy bubble at the bottom of my spine and tried to pull the bubble up from my spine. i started to actually feel it and then all of a sudden it shot straight up. i felt it penetrate my heart and it jerked, then through my throat and into my head.

the only way i culd explain it was a drop of water on an endless still ocean. it was beautiful.

ive activated my merkaba once too. felt vibrations through my whole body. i recognized the feeling from when i was a kid and i would wake up from an intense dream. sometimes id have to work into my body to actually move right. but i felt amazing the whole time. never scared me.

im going to try activating it while im on my journey now. i feel i really need to.

From the video below:

feelings of craziness
whats wrong with me
maybe I am going insane
or
sleeping for days
burning feeling

"what is it inside of us that is reacting with a natural energy, a natural flow of life force that makes us feel and respond in such a way" ...

"TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR BELIEFS"

your beliefs are the main reason for going thru a horrifying time during the Kundalini Awakening

"Think of your body as an expression of your beliefs. Your beliefs are not just in your head, they are in every cell of your body"

so if any of you had an unpleasant experience with Kundalini,
WHAT IS YOUR BELIEF?
