The funny thing about Capstones is that often their weight is too heavy to be supported by modern day technology and building techniques. Engineers have the will to build and produce things,like oil pipelines, and huge structures, but often their imaginations far surpass their ability to maintain the weight of its burden and ensure the safety of its construction. Like in the Mayflower disaster. The imaginations of a few men caused the desecration of the land, people's health, and loss of their homes. Few capstones have made it out of antiquity as 'whole' and complete structures. They are often cracked under their own weight. Or they end up crushing the structure they are mounted on. Perhaps man should take note the failure of past and previous Capstone experiences, it seems to me that in order for a Capstone to function as its intention, and not be crushed under its own weight, it needs certain metaphysical energies that mankind is certainly not in possession of at the moment. Curious to note, Capstones are also called "KEYSTONES".
Presently, thousands of aware Americans are protesting the allowance of the of the Keystone energy pipeline, which will run also from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. Obviously, there is greaT risk associated with the building of this 'capstone' of American achievement. Will our 'leaders' weigh the risk at all, or continue to focus on all the things that destroy mankind as a species?
Well, unfortunately for mankind, or fortunately whatever way you want to look at it, the choice is in your hands, and the future is yours for the choosing.
