In October I am moving to Southern California. Advice?
I am an actor living in Dallas, Texas. Work out here is slow now and inconsistent at best when it's busy season. In order to make it in this profession, I have to move.

I just found a place in Pasadena and moving in October.

Any advice on living in LA? Places to go/not go?

Advice on Earthquakes, since I've never experienced one?

Any weird laws I should know about?
