i agree with OP, the amount of hype they've put into this non hurricane is weird. It sounds like a cover story fOr something... idk we'll see by monday.  There are some strange aspects to this storm and the reporting. The state of Maine claimed a state of emergency long before the storm even hit NY. What is up with that? And the wind speed should be a typical thing that weather folks understand and report in the same way. Not one reporting at 10000 feet and the other at ground level. So that doesn't fly. We shall see in the days to come what this was all about. If indeed it was more then we can see at this time.
