Howdy, Yeah I used to work at the bowling center a way's back. Anyway cool gesture rock on!

I'm in Washington NC and this Irene might give us 100+MPH winds and 20+ inches of rain. Our main exit street is torn up because of new construction...so we are in for a shit load of problems drainage wise if this thing drops even 10 inches of rain in a short time. Worse still is if it stays off the coast of NC, our pamlico river might flood the entire town and no-one could get out except by boat.

If it looks like I need to bug out... could come to your place ? I'm down to my last straw money wise (maybe have a few months of paying minimal bills) so I can't afford a hotel. Just gassed up my car. I'm seriously considering picking up my tent and my massage table and heading west.

Well, come on down! I was so disappointed to see that the GLP "Doom cruise" fizzled out! I thought that was a great idea for a GLP get together!~ I would love to meet you and others. We really shouldn't have to wait for an evacuation from doom before we find ways to meet other GLPers around us. There are so few of us awake after all.

Our street is actually in the Marshall zip code but we are just two miles outside the Mars Hill city limits so that feels more like home. You should stop by if you are ever in town visiting your friends! :)
