$$$ SEC Goes After S&P Rating Agency For Insider Trading, Update, Story Just Blew Up Now On CNBC $$$

This story is not big yet, but it will be potentially fucking huge. The SEC has a lot of new power under the Dodd-Frank bill. It appears that the S&P may have leaked the downgrade of the US to a select few before they publicly announced it. This would have allowed people to make huge, and I mean huge, returns shorting the market at the beginning of last week. In addition, it appears they may have had other nefarious intentions. For those of you who do not think this is all political, why is France still at a AAA rating?
