It is a datamining operation where you are encouraged to interact with other people and the results are sold to whoever finds it valuable. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1497901If you have an account there, be smart and delete all your posts, all your friends, all your pictures, then delete your account. You can't fully delete your data, but you can put an end to it being archived forever on the search engines. Get back to good old face-to-face communication or talking on the phone. Facebook maintains a profit as a private company by selling your data to not only the government (FEMA intelligence offices, FBI, IRS, etc), but also marketing profile research companies and other big business. It won't last long according to what anonymous has stated. Scary, but true. By the sounds of it, if you don't they will probably have your information too. --- |

Facebook seem to be the new feds database. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1257704I dont have a FB account. Dont own a cellphone. I like my privacy. Leave me the F alone! TPTB threw so much money at that company it's insane. That annoying kid is worth in the tens-of-billions range, no? It's a wonder we don't all have "Facebook" force-tattooed on our foreheads, with that kind of financial muscle. Did you catch how Zuckerberg was Time Magazine's Man of the Year? WTF? Then I realized, ha ha how stoopid, somebody must have opened a bank account for somebody in the cash-strapped MSM world and "made it happen." |
