???** How many times have you heard news channels repeat things posted on GLP **???

noticed about a year ago.. stopped paying attention to it..of course they do, would be stupid not to. this is where the real news is, to me anyway.. all that tv news has been filtered though, edited.. this is the peoples news stand.
and one of the reasons i come here..

Where else would they get their scoops! If I want to know what's happening in the world I come here first so why wouldn't the reporters - especially with the enormous amount of AC's spilling top secret stuff all day long - you know, my uncle's bestfriend's sister-in-laws wife stories! LOL

No, I mean actual conversations and opinions of the posters, not just the news articles. I've seen a lot of talking heads parrot peoples statements on here nearly verbatim. These people ARE reading scripts... wonder if their writers are actually either actively participating here or reading posts to gain an "opinion" for the person reading the teleprompter.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I think this may be close to it. This is how they keep you watching... they identify with the public and what grabs your attention (the top pins).

A lot of these reporters are complely unprepared and go on with a couple quotes from glp, yet don't know what they're really saying, it's quite funny when they're asked to further go into detail.
